It’s perfect for phones. It’s small, compact and easy to cary around. You can notice the difference of the sound by using these mics, definitely helped me to record videos with a better audio quality.

I picked this up to do some videos where I was walking, talking in public. It did an awesome job isolating my voice, which made the post editing much easier to do.It is NOT GREAT for recording stand up sets, as I couldn't hear any of the THUNDEROUS laughter I was getting, but hey! That's what shotgun mics are for, right?Get this for travel vlogs and talking head style stuff.

It can pick up whispers and loud voices, and both are normalized to be a good volume when listening. It's got a pretty decent range, too. Also, it's RIDICULOUSLY easy to set up. No fussing with Bluetooth, the phone can charge and record audio at the same time. Big fan!
