Yongnuo YN 35mm f/1.4 wide-angle fixed focus lens autofocus for Canon EF-mount EOS cameras
SKU: GW21.0003
I wasn't sure what to expect for this money. But the quality is great and definitely sufficient for a hobby photographer. The autofocus isn't the fastest, but it's good enough. I'm definitely happy to have gotten such a good lens for such a small price.

was very skeptical about the purchase, since I've been a photo amateur for many years, I have all high-end professional lenses. I was looking for a versatile lens, mainly for street photography, to carry daily with one of my machine bodies (Canon 6D), not bulky and light, but I really had no intention of spending 6 times as much for the original Canon . Contrary to what some have claimed, I recreated myself!! The lens does its job well, good sharpness even at full aperture, gives good colors, precise focus, excellent brightness and I don't understand certain comments from some that I suggest learning to use the SLR first and then everything else. By the way, it's not as loud as many claim. Of course it is not flash with MAF and it is not comparable in quality and construction consistency with the original, but for the use I have to do is fine. Not recommended therefore clearly for professional use, I recommend it for those who are starting to do photography and want to try using a fixed lens, but also for those who are already a “developed” one and do not want to give up to get great ones to spend figures.

At this price you really can't go wrong! The autofocus could be slightly better, but it can still keep up very well with the competitor model from Canon. Highly recommended!

Connections fit like the original lenses. Functions all work perfectly. Good price for the lens. Just recommend.

was skeptical at first. But then I ordered the lens. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. The lens takes very good pictures and is completely sufficient for a hobby photographer. I will also buy the 50mm lens. A star deduction for the autofocus, which sometimes reacts sluggishly and the focus ring is a little rattling. But don't bother. I can only recommend the lens.

Depending on the area of application, the lens is rated totally differently. I use it for still life and with extension rings for close-ups of more or less static subjects. It is absolutely top and for the price a hammer. But as soon as movement comes into play and a reasonably fast autofocus is required, you can throw the lens in the bin. But the price has to come from somewhere. The autofocus isn't the quietest, but that doesn't bother me at all either. I would buy it again anytime.

I need the lens mainly for group photos in closed rooms. With other lenses I always had edge blur. It's almost completely gone now. The faces are razor sharp. That's exactly what I wanted. It is clear that you need a greater distance to the group because it is not a wide-angle lens.

Great picture quality! My favorite lens on the Canon APS-C Sonsor because it's light and I use 50mm KB equ. stand. Absolutely recommendable for the money.

I bought the Yongnuo to try and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike the Yongnuo 50mm, the 35mm has a metal bayonet. The image quality is also more than satisfactory for me as a hobby photographer. Canon's big brother costs 5 times as much. The price-performance ratio is absolutely satisfactory. The auto focus is a bit noisy but you can ignore it. Those who can live with these small drawbacks are well served with the Yongnuo.
