39mm MCUV Filter Ultra-Thin Trapezoid Patterned Frame Coating with a Vacuum Cleaning Cloth Nano-Klear Series
SKU: KF01.K39V2
I never had a UV filter on any of my Canon L lenses. I figured that since I paid lots of money for the lenses so why adding a $20 glass in front of it?
Until I switched to SONY. The Tamron 17-70mm F2.8 I bought recently is a 'vacuum', to prevent dust from getting from the front elements I decided to put a UV on it. It's a $1K lens so it's not a big deal if IQ get a little worse.
However, I can't tell the UV filter was there even when pixel peeping. The Colour is the same as without the UV filter, with no change in sharpness. I'm expecting to see some reflections, but it has yet to happen. Overall, I'm very impressed, easpcially consider the cost. I like it so much and bought one for every G and GM lens I have as well.
Very happy with these.

I'm a Professional and I've had 100's of lens filters over the span of a 30 year career. K&F ND Filters are as good as my highend, high priced glass at a very affordable price. As many are buying cameras that shoot both stills and video and you're looking for filters but aren't sure what to buy... you will be very happy with K&F ND Filters.

Good protection for the lens, UV does the job, you can put the lens cover back on. Right price.

got mine yesterday and said I would test performance with and without this filter. I have a vintage Minolta lens that was from my grandfather so it is very valuable to me and I wanted to avoid damaging it. As the title suggests, there is slight yellowing, vignettes, and a barely noticeable loss of sharpness that I can detect when viewing it on my computer screen, although the compressed images I've added may not fully show. Resolution of the original images. Let's break down what I found: The Yellowing - This filter has a slight yellow tint which makes sense, it's a UV filter so the shorter wavelength light might have trouble getting through. This isn't a problem for me as it can easily be adjusted and fixed in software after adding a little more blue, or this might get you better results in the field depending on your conditions The vignette - This is very easy though noticeable when looking at the same image with the filter on and off, again this is not a problem for me as it can be fixed or tweaked in software so that it is indistinguishable The sharpness loss - the sharpness loss is even at 400% barely noticeable, which is great. After that, if you just add 1 percent more sharpness, that's no problem for me. You have to view the photo at 200% resolution or higher to notice a loss, and even if you do see that, you have to look carefully. For what I paid for this filter, I'm happy to know that it doesn't affect my image in any way and that it acts as a shield, protecting my glass from scratches and dust. I will be adding more of these for my lenses and will not be forced to remove the filter to take a photo like I would with others. Great product, highly recommend!

The UV filter has a high-quality and clean finish. I really like the blue-purple reflection and it really makes a difference. I didn't notice any changes in image quality, but there could be a slightly different, increased lens flare. If you like the look, you will be satisfied with the filter. In any case, I can recommend it as protection for the lens!

The protective filter came quickly and was well packaged. It is also packed separately in a practical plastic box, which you can use later if you switch between ND filters or UV filters, which I personally find very practical. The protective filter makes a neatly processed impression and can be easily rotated onto the lenses. I mainly use the UV protection filter as protection because I'm outside a lot. The lens glass is often splashed/covered with dogs and children, so I can quickly clean the protective filter with a cloth without worrying about scratching the actual lens glass. If the protective filter is scratched, you simply buy a new one instead of a new lens. I do have one downside though, if you take photos at night you have unwanted glare spots from the UV protection filter, so it depends on how you hold the camera so that it isn't too strong. When photographing during the day, with direct light (sun/lamp), I personally don't find the lens flare disturbing. It makes a clean processed impression, it protects my lens, which is my top priority, so I can recommend the UV protection filter. I find value for money very good.

excellent filter, so transparent that at first I thought there was no glass ;););), aluminum ring, very light but often the outer ring is quite high for attaching other filters or umbrellas so that they can be screwed on stably. For the cost and the quality it is unparalleled. Definitely to recommend

It works perfectly. I see no problem with it, it looks like a gem when you see the package. When you put it on and try it on, you realize that you have actually bought a piece of jewelry. Delivered ahead of schedule and with everything that was offered.
