67mm Blue Streak Filter (2mm) Optical Glass Ultra-clear Waterproof Anti-Scratch Anti-Reflection Green Film Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2099
This filter is very interesting. As stated in the product description, it mimics the flare of an anamorphic lens. However, this effect comes with some caveats.
First, this filter creates this effect using small lines of a blue diffusion-like material. That gives you an anamorphic look, but it tends to overdo it. Flares are much more solid than a true aspheric lens and become unusable in locations with many large light sources. However, this is better than buying a $2000 Sirui lens unless you have two grand sitting around.
Second, since the filter uses physical material to create the effect, it's easily visible when you're looking for it, otherwise it disappears in the image. In my experience, this side effect worsens with longer focal lengths.
Third, because the filter uses a physical material to mimic an anamorphic lens, autofocus sometimes gets muddled. I used this filter on my Sony A7IV with a Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 lens. At around 24mm, the autofocus would occasionally go haywire. Again, longer focal lengths exacerbate this problem, especially when focusing on subjects closer to the lens.
Pros: This filter is very cool despite the caveats I discussed. I used it in a short film and I loved it. is it perfect No, but nothing ever is. If you are looking to buy this filter I would recommend it. However, if you have a few thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket, buy a true anamorphic lens like a Sirui 100mm. Overall a great purchase I have no regrets but be aware of the issues involved. If you want to use a fisheye lens: maybe not for you. If you want to get very close to a topic: Not for you. If you want to shoot in dynamic lighting with a longer focal length: this is for you.

This is a quality filter. The threads are firmly connected to the camera lens and the resulting images will not be distorted when this is on the camera. I love the double sided flare that gives night time images with a light in the middle. I've always wondered how photographers do it. Now I not only know how, I also know how easy it is.

Apart from the blue stripe effect in the lens, the glass is very clear. I can't tell much of a difference when it comes to image quality with the filter off and on.
The filter only seems to take effect when the conditions are right. I pointed it at really big bright objects and it doesn't seem to "prob". With smaller lights it comes into its own much more. Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Such an impressively organic look. Absolutely obsessed with this thing and super excited to add it to the gear!

I tried it on my last shoot for one of the biggest brands and it worked perfectly! helped me make the place look more interesting and have the focus on the topic!
It is a bit difficult to work with such filters as not every lens gives unique results. However, when you hit the mark in combination with the right lighting, it works so well.
I also got the anamorphic filter and can't wait to use it on a new shoot!
Other points worth emphasizing: I have invested heavily in the competing brand prismlens fx; I own almost every filter but one thing they are missing is the 82mm filter and K&F Concept hit the spot by offering their filters in 82mm. A reduction from 82mm to 77mm presents no problems, whereas 77mm to 82mm creates a lot of vignetting.

This streak filter can be rotated up to 360 degrees and is perfect for creating differently angled and dynamically rotating flares.
The anamorphic streak filter from K&F Concept creates a cinematic vintage effect on photos and videos by transforming points of light into linear anamorphic light reflections. It has a 77mm camera lens with a mounting thread. With an adapter ring, a step-up ring or a step-down ring, it can also be used for camera lenses from 32mm to 82mm. It is equipped with 8K Ultra HD optical glass, has 28 nano-layers and low reflectivity that ensures high-resolution photos and video recordings.
It is lightweight and consists of an anodized aluminum alloy frame. It has an ultra-thin frame that reduces vignetting and dark corners when mounted on a wide-angle lens. CNC machined and anodized aluminum alloy frame is built to last, abrasion and erosion resistant. In addition, the trapezoidal pattern on the frame is ideal for easier grip and non-slip function. The filter is excellent because it is waterproof and oil resistant.
I like the fact that the lenses can be rotated to adjust the angle of the spread. Also, the brightness and intensity of the filter will depend on your setup and the light you're shooting. The compact effect filter comes with a filter box and a cleaning cloth, making it efficient and practical for your recording and filming.
All in all, this is a great product that allows me to be more creative in my photo shoots with less effort.

I like that the filter is well built and made of good clear glass. It's interesting to play with the effect... you can get really extraordinary shots. The price is good for the quality... good value for money and a nice filter in your pocket

This filter has limited uses, but if you want to get a little creative with your photography, this filter is for you. Once you've attached the filter to the end of your lens, you can rotate it a full 360° to place a blue stripe at any angle.
As with other K&F Concept filters I have, the quality is there. It comes with its own hard case and lens cloth.
It's not the cheapest filter, but I think it's worth the price.

You need some good, sharp highlights, e.g. B. if you point it directly at a bright light to get the most out of it. When you do that the effect is great and it's good at mimicking the blue streaks you get from anamorphic lenses. You can rotate it to any angle, which is handy for switching between portrait and landscape modes, but anything other than horizontal stripes looks odd to me. Probably just because we're used to seeing that in movies.
Aside from the blue stripes, it's otherwise very clear and hardly detracts from the rest of the picture, which is great.
