Really good quality ND filters for GoPro. In the UK's northwest I don't imagine using them much as we don't have that yellow thing in the sky very much :). But these are still well-tested, high quality filters.

I wish these were in stock when I bought the non-polarized filter set because I currently have two sets, while I believe these would cover all my needs.
They could be made perfect with some minor adjustments:
- Supply two higher NDs for the two lowest. They aren't nearly dark enough for a "bright day" pack, and even in the UK you rarely use the lowest on a cloudy day.
- Clarify the markings. We really don't need a big Freewell logo on top; larger text for the filter type, either on the top or front, would be much more useful.
The coating and glass are excellent quality. The kit comes with a small, high quality lens cloth, which is easy to lose (I lost my Mini 1 cloth the first day I took it out).
They attach with a bayonet and are extremely secure so they do not need to be re-seated, making them very easy to attach correctly compared to the Mini 1/2 which has a hook on the back.

I tested the Bright Day Kit.
The filters are delivered in a protected storage box.
The bayonet lock makes them very easy to attach.
The filters fit perfectly and firmly on the camera - I use the GoPro Hero 11.
The workmanship of the filters is impeccable and the price is therefore justified.
I was quite happy with my shots without filters up to now, but these filters improve the shots even more.
The 4 filter strengths mean you always have the right thing for every exposure situation. The polarization is a perfect help with glare and reflections - I already knew this from my polarized sunglasses.
The use of the filters also makes special effects possible - e.g. deliberate motion blur through longer exposures, which would always lead to overexposure without a filter.
Conclusion: If you want to make even more use of the possibilities of your Hero 9/10/11, this very high quality filter set is a great choice, so I give it 5 stars and a purchase recommendation.

A great set of filters for the GoPro.
It comes in a nice plastic case where the filters can be stored with good padding.
The filters themselves are of excellent quality and made of high-quality material.
They help to adapt the camera even better to the given lighting conditions.
They are super easy to mount on the camera and remove again.

I'm not a great star photographer and I use the GoPro almost exclusively for underwater shots. Other filters are needed here and these are then attached to the housing rather than the camera.

So thank you very much for letting me test the set of ND/PL filters. Unfortunately, not all weather conditions were possible, and I still have to take a snow shot. I tried out the filters individually and - to have a better comparison - kept the subject and the light influence as constant as possible.

There is a rough recommendation for the individual filter strengths for the different light intensities, but I can only recommend just trying the filters out. Twilight shots look even more intense. I like to try things out, especially with the 64.

The filters are neatly packaged and stored in a usable case.

Here you can get a practical filter set for the GoPro Hero. The optical properties of the filters seem to be very good and at a fair price.

The filters fit easily on the GoPro Hero. I was able to achieve good results with these filters.

The filters are very well made and make a high-quality impression. Installation is simple and problem-free. The filters have a good effect without producing negative image effects. Contrast and saturation of the images are significantly improved. Reflections are also well reduced.

The price is fair for the good and high-quality filters.

The ND filter set for the GoPro Hero 9 - Hero 11 was well packaged and delivered quickly. The four ND filters supplied should also function as polarizing filters. You can achieve great results with these filters. You capture more details, especially on sunny days. But the filters are also ideal for water shots or similar, as they eliminate metallic reflections. I could also see this in my test shots. I had a similar experience with the ND filters. These are like a kind of sunglasses for the camera; the higher the value, the darker the image. If you are filming at 4K 30fps, the shutter speed should be 1/60 to make the shots look cinematic. But this is impossible on sunny days, even if the ISO is 100. So you need an ND filter to darken the image. If you want to record at 60fps, you should set the exposure time to 1/120. For this you need an ND filter with a small value. So far I have only used the ND8 and, on very sunny days, the ND16 filter. The other filters are only suitable for special applications or for long exposures.
I am also satisfied with the quality of the filters. They are made of aluminum and glass and are very light. The filters can also be attached and removed without any problems. They also sit very firmly on the camera.
In the end, you get inexpensive ND filters with an integrated polarizing filter that help you record the video with the ideal exposure time.
