I would like to start by saying that I use various easels and that in recent years I have "discovered" K&F, a Chinese manufacturer that is making quality its trademark, offering an easel like this entirely in Carbon at a reasonable price (compared to more renowned brands This Cavalletto doesn't make you regret anything, on the contrary! Let's start by saying that it is entirely made of carbon and in addition to holding 16KG of load without problems (tested with 8 kg) it is extraordinarily light (just over 1 kg excluding head). The legs are composed of 4 sections, one leg has the classic neoprene covering (I think) and, what is not negligible, one leg can be dismantled and used as if it were a monopod. The stand has a central column (also in carbon) with a height of approximately 40 cm, adjustable and equipped with a practical hook for hanging a counterweight. The sections (if used) bring the height of the stand to a maximum of 173 cm (head excluded) and once closed the maximum occupancy does not exceed 60 cm. Among the many easels used, this one is certainly among the "top" ones, both for its equipment and for the feeling of robustness, which for me is of fundamental importance as it normally has to ensure that the expensive equipment does not fall! The easel It is supplied with: - Carrying case with shoulder strap and handle - Ball head with quick release and bubble - Set of Allen keys for dismantling (maintenance) operations Ultimately, a professional tripod at the right price. PRO - Entirely in Carbon - Remarkable thickness of the legs - Removable tips - High quality materials - Attention to detail - Equipment CONS - Nothing to report I hope this mini review has been useful to you.

I struggled for a long time with whether I needed a tripod at all and, if so, in which price segment I should go for it. Ultimately, I didn't want to invest too much money because I would only use the tripod rarely, but I also wanted a certain level of quality and mobility. The K&F Concept Carbon tripod from the X-Series described here seemed to meet this requirement... The tripod is delivered in a nice, compact and sturdy Cordura carrying case. After unpacking it, I was initially very surprised at how light the tripod felt and was a little worried about how stable it would be. My worries were unfounded! The tripod is very high quality, all components are very cleanly made and fit together wonderfully. The legs of the tripod, which can be folded around the center column for transport, are unlocked with a small turn of the rings on the legs and can be easily extended. Another quick turn and they are firmly locked. The center column is sturdily made and contributes to the overall stability instead of deteriorating it. The fit on the tripod is also very accurate and the components sit neatly together without gaps or wobbling. The fairly compact head from the 30 series is also sufficiently stable and can be easily adjusted, but also securely locked when the camera is aligned. My heaviest setup weighs around 4kg and is safely supported by both the head and the tripod itself. If necessary, you can add extra weight to the tripod using the hook under the center column, e.g. in strong winds or with a very light camera. A nice additional feature is that you can unscrew one of the legs and then even have a monopod that you can almost carry in your jacket pocket, at least in terms of weight. Overall, I am very satisfied with the tripod and the head. In terms of load capacity, I still have a solid amount of leeway, so that new purchases with more weight will not be a problem. The low weight of the tripod is a guarantee that you will pack it up and take it with you, that was An important argument for me. Its long-term suitability remains to be seen, but I currently have no concerns that the tripod will do its job.
