I've always wanted to have a metal detector and I decided to buy it to use it on these first summer weekends camping and at the beach. It is a fun object, equipped with a stem with an adjustable length between 78 and 107 cm suitable for use by adults or children over 10 years old. It has a search capacity up to 20 cm deep and is waterproof with the possibility of use in shallow water. For example, I use it on the seashore considering that the control box, unlike the coil, is not waterproof. Using it, you must take precautions such as positioning the search coil 1-5 cm away from the ground and keep in mind that greater sensitivity corresponds to a lower capacity discriminatory of metals. By resetting DISC, you can restart a search following any errors and inappropriate acoustic sound emissions. In this regard, it seems right to also report the presence of a headphone jack to avoid disturbing with the sounds emitted by the object. Also included in the packaging are 2 9V batteries. After much searching for a metal detector I purchased this one for my grandson.It arrive when it said it would and although we encountered a small issue with it this company addressed it in a timely manner. My grandson has enjoyed this product and it is lightweight and easy to figure out.I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from this company again!

This metal Detector is exactly what I needed as a beginner metal detector hobbyist. I have used it quite a bit since I received it and it works great! The foldable shovel never did work. Once unfolded, I couldn't unscrew the area in order to make it stay in place. It was impossible to unscrew and have the metal ring to hold it in place. So the shovel would just fold back closed if you tried to dig. I cared most about the detector working, which it has. I'm am pleased with my purchase.

It came on time easy put togather an it made good an work reel good I give this metal detector 5stars I love it good quality an I was useing it an it started buzzing an I started diging in my yard an I found a dime. an started cleaning it once I was able to see the date on my dime I found it show 1966 dime so this a real good metal detector it good start out in your own yard useing a metal detector if first time being a metal detector like me you, never know what you might find laying in your yard burry when you done make sure you cover your hole back up after you done Useing this metal detector to find coins this metal detector you have one stand up to the big boys good product I recommend this metal detector to anybody to buy

I ordered this Metal Detector for going to the beach where I love to see what turns up with a metal detector. I had a very old metal detector that no longer works so I couldn’t wait for this kentfaith Metal Detector to arrive. It was very easy to set up and came with headphones and a handy shovel that came with a carrying case. I haven’t been to the beach yet but I took it out in the back yard to try it out. It worked great. The nice big needle and tone makes it easy to see and hear when you are over an object. I found a bolt right away with it. It weighs less than 4 pounds, so is easy to swing for long periods of time. Even though it is light, it is all metal and feels well made. The detector head is waterproof you you can even use it underwater. Overall, I am very happy with this metal detector and will make a special trip to the beach just to try it there.

This was perfect for me to utilize while camping and I will be able to keep it in the truck for spur of the moment finds at the beach! It was very easy to put together and calibrate. The shovel and headphones that came with it are really neat and the unit is solid once together. The batteries last quite a while but I do suggest if on a long trip bring a extra set. Great device for my level digger!

Liking if for now, perhaps an upgrade to Loving It to come later. Still learning a bit about the dials and buttons and how to properly use it to find stuff. I found my first piece of metal today, although it was a piece of chain-link fence, it was something...It feels sturdy enough, easy to adjust, and light weight so you can do detecting for hours. The headset does not sit on the ears too well, but works great, and best of all has a volume adjustment since the beep from the device is fairly loud. It also comes with a shovel/pick that has already gotten some use and is very sturdy. Overall very happy with the purchase, and looking forward to finding loads and loads of gold and silver.... or soda cans.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She's only 8 yrs. old but requested a metal detector for Christmas. I got this at a really great price and it's a well made unit. Turns out that the adults in the house are using it as much as the kids! They have lots of fun searching for "treasures" on the beach, in public parks and even in their own yard! It's not a light plastic toy but isn't too difficult to figure out. Highly recommend for novices.

Went together easily, like the hidden cord in the shaft, haven't used it outside yet, but tested inside and seems to work. We'll see if I find anything! Like that it comes with the shovel (seems well made) and ear phones (average quality).
