Good product for a great price. Has a good depth range and not as heavy as I thought it would be. Can't wait to test it on the beach. Overall happy

I have never tried this hobby before, I got this Metal detector a couple of days ago. The device itself is quick and easy to set up with no tools required, its lightweight and comfortable so good for long periods of use. It also seems to have all the features you would need. I have only tested it in the garden so far as it has not stopped raining, it finds the nails and £1 I hid easily, the pinpoint mode works really well.
Although I had it up running and working in a few minutes it will probably take a bit of time and practise to dial all the settings and preferences in too experience the full functionality of this detector.
The metal detector compacts down to about 1m and fits into a carry bag that is included for easy transport.
I would say the metal detector is great for beginners who do not want to spend a lot of money before they know if they like the hobby, I am sure you will make some great finds with this machine.

So in preparation of the covid restrictions being lifted in the UK, I planned to do something fun and interesting with the kids, essentially trying to be outdoorsy. This here was the problem, because being from London we are very much use to being a concrete jungle meaning there was not much places we could use the detector. We do have parks and the odd meadows but legally we can not dig up the ground if the device does detect something underneath.
In regards to the device itself, it is well packaged and the amazon delivery as always was timely and efficient. The product itself does feel sturdy and durable but the main downside is the price. Compare to other sellers it is quite pricey but I am not sure if the high price actually means it is any better than the competition. All in all, it is fun for the kids to go around and detect items but unless you have a garden where you can do a treasure hunt for the kids then be prepared to only detect items without digging for it.

Nice item for beginners, main issue is the elements it detects are all US metals which can't be changed, as far as I can find. My fault for not checking, but still lighter and plenty of fun
