This metal detector is Great! We really appreciate the "pinpoint" settings, it saves us a lot of time. One set of 9Volt batteries and your set. I purchased a set of rechargeable 9Volt batteries which saves money in the long run. We have had zero problems with this product. In fact, our neighbor purchased one after we 'showed it off' to him. It's perfect for adults, teens, and little ones because it adjusts to size and it's designed well for comfort. I would recommend this product.

We had a lot of fun treasure hunting with the metal detector.It works great! It is light weight and easy to carry. It has a nice bag with a shoulder sling and a nifty foldable shovel/pick combo for digging up the treasure. Can't wait till our next treasure hunt.

Overall this is a decent metal detector. The LCD screen works well and is easy to read. The unit is lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with a large carrying bag, shovel, and headphones. The headphones work okay. I think they could be a little clearer and louder, but hey aren’t bad for the price point. The shovel is a nice addition. I still am figuring out the different functions and what sounds equals what metals but I will learn eventually.
I think this is a great beginners unit and once learned will definitely upgrade to a little more stout and higher quality metal detector.

Summers in alaska are just going to be way more fun. I did take it out the box to make sure it works and it does! Now that gold in the mountains stands no chance!

We're not rich yet but having fun looking for treasures with this handy detector. It was easy to put together and get started. The larger backlit display helps pinpoint the loction of the found object and helps identify the metal composition. I love that the coil is waterproof in shallow water.

I have been doing metal detecting search for a long time. I had 2 metal detectors - Garrett and Deus xp. This metal detector is fast to assemble, good coil, convenient display, inexpensive .. It sees all targets, I used it on the beach, I liked it

This was shipped and received very quickly...faster than originally quoted.
It was packaged very nicely and was very easy to assemble. It came with the 2x9V batteries, so was ready to test out after the MAYBE 5 minute assembly. It is going to take a bit of practice to determine what readings = what treasure. It is an excellent source of exercise and the excitement also revs your adrenaline a bit. I have been wanting a metal detector for a very long time after watching some channels that dig and find on YouTube.
