Easy enough for 13 year old to operate, but good quality and fun little gadget to get outside and explore!

The assembly of the detector was easy. The instructions have a setup step where you perform a demonstration using coins, a ring and a nail. You get to see and here the different sounds before you head out. I will say the small spade included only lasted about two hours digging in the sand! Had to throw it out. Other than that, it’s a good buy and I recommend it.

Sorryno picture. EZ to assemble w/ case. Gave as gift. Previous was a Telesoro Silver Saber. Excellent penetration, depth indication, coin-mineral-trash descrimination. Even good at beach, head phones to avoid attracting attention, not just to finds but to yourself, comes with small spade. You/grandkids will be amazed. Experienced shooter, local historian.
