I used it in my yard and I'm a newbie. I dug up a 1950's toy car, bottle caps, scrap metal. I used it 3 times so far.

I really like the features offered on this detector. Many upgrades from my 30 yr old one. I love the memory and the night back light. The price was nice and I love the accessories. The case shaped like a guitar is genius. I have been hastled just for having one in my RV before near national parks.

This was a birthday present for my husband. He Loves it!! It's super simple to operate. It's easy to adjust to fit any height and lightweight. It has a setting to detect multiple metals and even come with a small hand shovel to dig with. We are happy customers!!
