Perfectly adequate and good for occasional use. Now the device has a different use. At my 9 year old grandson's birthday party, a grass coin hunt was started. The children got along well with the device. Next stop Strand!

A metal detector is pretty good to start with. Finds metals at shallow depths. At first, you need to read the user manual to understand the symbols. Being able to plug in normal jack headphones and then not annoy the environment is also great.

After trying another device and being very disappointed at a kids birthday party, we opted for this device later on and son is very happy. The device works perfectly and has already shown him some interesting finds. This is my son's first time and he has had a great time with the device right from the start.

I can use the device for a good 20-30 min. Unfortunately, my daughter 9 doesn't do it 10 minutes because it's not that easy.

I bought a detector for me/us to look for metals with the kids. I had him with us on vacation and he would walk the beach early in the morning looking for things. Among other things, we found minor changes, bottle caps and rings. So for me/us the purchase has been profitable so far. The part does what it's made for, looking for metals, as this is our first metal detector, of course I can't compare to others. All in all, it's worth the money if you want to search and find metals from time to time. That's why I have a clear buy recommendation. Metal detector for little money.

The detector does what it should.
With our children we made various finds depending on the area, from small parts like paper clips, earrings, small change, nails to ammunition in the woods, everything was there.
It takes a bit of practice at first to find the exact location, but then it's up and running. An additional pointer helps with precise location determinations
