Bought this to locate some sprinkler heads in my yard that have sunken in and need a riser extension. It did just fine for that. Also took it to the beach and managed to find a coin and a few pieces of trash.Knocked a star off because there is no volume adjustment for the headphone output, and the instructions about the filtering functions are cryptic. But it's cheap, it's reasonably lightweight, and it does what it says on the package.

This is my first metal detector. I got it to find nails in the back yard after some demolition. It was easy to setup and the instructions are great. It found lots of nails, including others that had been buried for decades! I did use a pinpointer, which I’d purchased earlier, to zero in on difficult nails. Overall I’m really happy with this purchase and feel like I’ve only skimmed the surface on its abilities!

Bought this for my grandson, to look for treasure on the beach, in Florida. He is having a great time !

Used it to find my old, buried, property line markers (rebar). Now I won't have to order another expensive survey. Kids were having fun with it too, finding buried objects in the yard. Easy to use, and it worked well for us.I've only had it for one day. I will update this review if anything changes.

This item is completely as advertised. It was incredibly easy to set up and use. It seems effective and accurate so far!

Light weight. Easy set up, easy to figure out the buttons. Good price. Hope it lasts a few years. Seems all good

It works well within it's limited features but the units with more features tend to be quite a bit more expensive so it's a decent compromise. I'll probably upgrade to a more expensive model if I really get into metal detecting but this was fine to get started with and it does everything it's designed to do reasonably well.
