My daughters had so much fun playing with this metal detector. It’s so easy to use and it’s very accurate. We found lots of “treasure” (ok it’s junk metal but that’s alright) in our front yard. Can’t wait to try it out at the park or somewhere busy so maybe can find some real treasure lol.

The metal detector is great! It is sensitive enough to find even the smallest pieces of metal. I have already found multiple coins to add to my coin collection. It can be dissembled to fit into the storage bag (included) that can be hand carried or placed in a suitcase for travel. I haven't used it at the beach but like the fact that it can be used in saltwater! I highly recommend the metal detector.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller and explained what had happened. They said the detector should not have failed as it was waterproof and said they would send me a replacement. I had to contact them a second time after not receiving the replacement within a month. I received the replacement today and the seller was apologetic about the delay and they were willing to help with any issues. The detector works well and the grandkids were thrilled with it. I have changed my rating to 4 stars.
Previous review. This item was defective and stopped working after the first use at the beach. I contacted the amazon associate twice and they connected me with the manufacturer on the line. The manufacturer promised to send a replacement both times, but nothing was ever sent. Now, Amazon is saying they are not responsible, even though this item was "fulfilled by amazon". I will try again with another associated and have also contacted the manufacturer again. This item failed with the first use and now no one is standing behind this product.

This is so cool! I got it for my sons 6th birthday. We immediately put a 9volt battery in and took it to the park
It picks up the tiniest metal objects (we found a gum wrapper, 2 nails, and a bottle cap lol!)
Haven’t found any buried treasure yet but it sure is fun!

Moldy bag when opened up. Toy not damaged but had to be cleaned off. Kid not happy.

Been wanting one since I was a child glad I didnt have to pretend buy this for a kid! Its perfect size for me BC I'm short and it extends as seen in the 2nd pic. The really cool part is they give you tools (a gardening how and a trowel) and a collection bag, they really did think of everything! Its lightweight and portable, fun weekend activity for the kids or weirdos like me

I'm so glad I got the Metal Detector for Kids. My son and husband has found all kinds of interesting things. It's very accurate. When it goes off the red light and lound sounds let's you know that something is there. We not had it go off without something being there. It come with a hand shovel n rake perfect size for there little hands. The bag to store it in is made of tuff cloth sure to last. The medal detector adjust to different heights making it comfortable for different children to use. It's sturdy and it's so simple to use that they will think they are big stuff finding treasure on there own. My son hasn't let it out of his sight since he received it. Comes with the 9volt battery so you're good to go when it arrives. You can't go wrong.

This is a great item for kids. It is really easy for them to set up and use! Light-weight makes it easy for them to handle and the carrying bag makes it perfect to take anywhere. We were not expecting the bag or the digging tools that came with it, so that was a nice surprise. After one use we found an old knife and some rusted pliers, works great so far!
