This camera has a day/night sensor that is overly sensitive to distant lights, an illumination pattern that is too narrow for the camera field of view, a PIR motion detection trigger that cannot be set as low as 0.1 seconds, and a curved blockage on the right side of videos. While it may be suitable for other applications, it was not the right fit for me.

I recently received the Vanbar Trail Camera x002NWLH6P as a Christmas gift and although the picture quality is quite clear compared to my other brand trail camera, there is an eclipse on the right side of all night time pictures/videos. Additionally, when it's cold, it tends to fog up and does not pick up as many motion-activated events. As such, I cannot recommend this product.

I'm pleased with this item as the pictures it takes are acceptable. I have no problem with the PIR sensitivity even when it's cold outside. The camera can detect objects up to 20 feet away, and it won't be triggered by vehicles passing through the driveway which is 15 feet away. Setting up the camera is relatively easy following the step-by-step instructions provided, however, you need to purchase your own memory card and 8 AA batteries (not rechargeable). I don't use the video so I can't review that.
