Great little microscope for beginners and those who want to become familiar with the tools and techniques needed to use a microscope properly. The optics are clear but unfortunately quite dusty, which definitely affects the otherwise flawless performance of this microscope. A quality instrument and the tools and accessories that come with it are great too. The inside needs cleaning but other than that it's a great microscope.

Great microscope for both beginners and advanced users. I like that the neck rotates 360 degrees so you can show someone else the image without having to get up from your chair. With the cell phone adapter, you can even take photos of what you're looking at. Comes with everything you need including a carrying case, instruction manual, power adapter or 3 AA batteries for top and bottom lights, cellphone adapter, 2 different eyepieces, 10 and 25X, 10 slides and 5 blank slides, as well as a petrie dish cleaning cloth and a pipette. As expected, the image quality is quite good. Overall a winner in my eyes. See what I just did there... lol. I hope this helps you in your decision making.

Excellent binocular microscope. Binocular eyepieces are easier to focus and offer better observation and therefore reliable results. The LED light option is suitable for observing non-transparent objects, such as fabric or leaves, flowers, etc. The eye relief can be flexibly adjusted according to the desired need. The quality of the products is super good and the price is right.

I really liked it, it was my first purchase on Amazon and I really recommend it. I'm a 9th semester microbiology student and this microscope is really good. It helps me to observe my culture of microalgae and various microorganisms. Thank you!

The microscope is made of metal and is therefore robust. It is ideal for children who are interested in science or anyone with a hobby or interest in biology. It is well packed in a carrying bag.

It's my first microscope. So I don't know much about it at all, but it's nice. So far I've looked at parasites in my aquarium filter and parasites in a raw oyster. But I don't like the way they used puns on the "connect your phone" thing to make anyone who isn't paying attention think they mean "connect," like Bluetooth... tricky, tricky and the CD-ROM was broken

enjoy micro hunting while hiking and taking samples wherever I can. This microscope is good, don't get me wrong, if you are a beginner and want to learn about the different microorganisms around you then this is 100% for you. However, the magnification is not what you would want if you want to see living organisms in water, cells, etc. up close and study them up close. Worth the price.

No dislikes!!! I had no idea how much I missed using one. While you might not think Foresters wouldn't use one often, I did it for the first three years of my career and loved it!!! Now I'm picking up where I left off. If there was anything negative about the kit it would be that there were no lens caps.

bought this as a home resource for my biology class and it really helped me reinforce the lab "lessons" on microscopy. I recommend it to all beginning science students!
