This is a great tripod.

I like the feel and it seems stable for a light weight tripod. The locks are solid without putting too much effort on the screws and I like the ability to slide off center a lot. I would recommend it for a general use tripod. For those hiking looking for ultralight, I still think the weight is a concern.

Easy to use

Very solid build. Handles all my needs whether I’m filming in the studio or outside on a shoot. Love the versatility. I can go from regular tripod to monopod to macro setup within minutes

This thing is like a Swiss army knife. It inverts and collapses to a modest 19" and weighs only 4lbs, but it can turn into nearly anything...A 6 and half foot monopod? Sure.A standing height tripod? You bet.Super sturdy low angled legs? Rodger that.Upside down with an inverted column putting your camera just a hair off the ground? It's got you covered.Taking photos straight down for a book or a decomposition? The center column can slide up and then over.Want a different head, besides any normal 3/8" head? The head screw is reversible so you can directly attach the camera directly or use some weird 1/4" lighting accessory.Is it extra windy and need more heft? Well the built in spring hook makes it easy to add extra weight to the bottom. Need an extra plate or prefer using camera L brackets? The head uses Arca-Swiss style plates, so finding replacements or compatible brackets is easy.Seriously, if you're buying your first tripod (or second after that cheap plastic/aluminum one that came with the camera) you can't go wrong with this tripod... wherever you end up going with your photography this one will help get you there.Are there any cons? Of course, photography is all about trade offs. While this has more than enough heft for any mirror-less and most DSLR use... you may want something heftier, yet less versatile is you're doing video work or using crazy heavy lenses. The feet of the tripod are good all purpose rubberized feet, but it doesn't have spikes which you may need for rocky/sandy locations. If you don't need all the features, setting up a simpler tripod may be faster than one that can do everything. And finally it's good mid-range gear, so eventually, with heavy use the clamps, springs and clips will wear out, but considering the value it provides until that day, it's totally worth it.

This is a super nice tripod and probably way nice than I ever needed. If you’re into video work and pretty advanced in photograph then I highly recommend this. Very smooth transitions and lots of angles and movement. I’m very impressed. Definitely recommend this!

This tripod is fantastic for on the go shooting, I throw my iPhone for b roll on it and even mount a DSLR on it for other shots when I need. This is lightweight and versatile.

I got this Tripp’s so I could have more stability while taking pictures with my DSLR.This tripod is absolutely amazing and 100% worth the money. This tripod works fantastically as a tripod and mono pod. The versatility is not matched by any other tripod in my opinion.It is very light weight and comes with a carrying case so you don’t have just carry the tripod around by itself. It folds up nice and small to save space. It’s light weight compared to other tripods which is a big plus. But I’m my opinion the biggest and best feature is the leveling bubble. It really makes stabilizing super simple.I definitely recommend this tripod/monopod combo. It makes using your camera a lot less stressful and in my opinion more fun k owing that the chances of an error are mitigated just that much more. Great product!! Very high quality.

I am a former television director and have enjoyed astrophotography for several decades. I've been using a Bogen Manfrotto 3051 professional tripod with a 3063 head. I've used many professional tripods in my career.I ordered this K&F Concept 72 Inch Camera Tripod as my 3051 is quite heavy to pack into remote locations to do my astrophotography. This smaller and lighter tripod wants very much to be perfect but stops just a few very minor features short. That said, it does have several features not found in my 3051 that I'm liking very much. With that in mind, here are my pros and cons:PROS:• It is Lightweight. I don't mind attaching this tripod to my backpack and hiking it into location. This is one of the major selling points for me.• A very compact yet sturdy design (seem my comparison photo of this tripod next to my 3051).• Easy deployment of the multi-angle legs makes short work of getting set up.• Mostly solid aluminum construction (where it counts).• Comes with a very nice and durable carrying bag with strap. This will keep dust, dirt, and a few raindrops from getting into the tripod.• It is a solid platform for shooting astrophotography, which requires that there be no instability. I usually don't extend the third, smallest section of the legs when shooting the night sky.• It is both a monopod and tripod in one. This is a very desirable feature for me. I have a Bogen Manfrotto monopod too but with this tripod, I don't have to drag both around.• The center column can be added to the monopod to extend the height.• The center column can be inverted for doing macro photography.• The ball lock knob, when loosened, allows the center column to telescope to twice its original length. This allows you to get the camera well overhead.• It allows for landscape and portrait orientation when shooting.• The ball head makes for very quick changes in orientation. While I don't do many many orientation changes, I think it would be ideal for a wedding or landscape photographer.• The ball head has a separate knob to lock the head in the panning axis.• The ball head has a single cutout that allows you to position the camera 90° from horizontal.• The pan adjustment is calibrated in degrees. This is especially nice for shooting astrophotography because I often orient by degrees from the North. The degree tick marks properly orient along the horizon plane (45° = East, 315° = West). I always set up with the zero tick facing geographic North.• The central column rotates 360 degrees and provides a stable plane for taking panoramic shots. It also doubles as a handlebar.• It has a counter-weight hook - a feature usually found only in high-end tripods.• Most adjustment and lock knobs are metal where it is needed.• Articulation of the ball head and other moving parts of the tripod is smooth.• It supports the weight of my camera, which has a heavy battery pack.• The camera plate adjusts forward and backward to balance the camera.• The orange and black color scheme looks professional.CONS:• The camera plate needs to be a bit larger and provide a better tightening arrangement.• The leg flip locks are plastic. I see this as a potential failure point for the tripod. I hope the manufacturer sells replacements in case I drop the tripod on a rock and bust a flip lock.• The monopod lacks a quick vertical adjustment trigger. In some shooting scenarios, I would want one.• The camera plate needs a lock pin for use with video cameras to avoid loosening of the plate after numerous pans.Parting thoughts... I enjoy using this tripod and will be using it for most of my astrophotography (and other photography) in the future. It is lightweight, sturdy, and solid. The cons weren't such detractors that would cause me to take any stars off of my final five-star rating. If you want a very nice prosumer tripod, don't hesitate to buy this one.

I recently had a chance to use a variation of one these tripods. The one I played with had an extra leg segment and was at least 2 feet taller than this one (the tallest tripod I ever saw - could barely reach it fully extended!). I really loved that tripod, but having one that tall didn't really have a benefit for me so I was excited to find that this one was available - same quality and features, just a more standard height for a little bit less money.Now, I've never been one to spend hundreds of dollars on a tripod, but I have owned at least a half-dozen really goods that are in this class , but this is the most impressive of them all.Its flexibility is unsurpassed - from all the standard moves, to being able to inverse the legs or the center trunk, and for the telescoping transverse arm that can be used for product photography or macro photography. I attached a heavy DSLR with a mid-size lens at the furthest extended reach and it held well. It can even convert to a monopod, but I haven't tried that and it looks a little complicated.The ball heads (2!) for the transverse arm and the standard one for holding the camera are very good and lock into place tightly without any significant play. All the controls are of better-than-standard quality: the cool colored aluminum, to the nicely textured rubber bits.10 years ago, if you could even get a tripod this nice, it would have cost twice as much (or more). This new crop is a great value, with this being one of the best.Yes, you can get lighter, but for such a full-function tripod, this isn't bad. All aluminum. Lighter would mean losing the features that give this such value, or paying many times more in price.In my limited time playing with it, I cannot imagine a better tripod in this price range. If you can afford it, I'd lose all the junky economy tripods, get this one for studio or local photography work, and maybe a low-feature, but ultra-light if you're into hiking/backpacking landscape photography. If I could only have one - this would almost certainly be the one I'd keep of my half-dozen different tripods.Hope this helps!
