I do weddings and engagements and this softens portraits slightly without making them look out of focus. It seems to decrease the contrast mildly and adds a nice effect. I don’t use it all the time, but it does seem to enhance portraits.

I have already bought a similar filter from another brand and fell in love with it and wanted one for my Fuji X100T with which to do some urban shots in the evening. The filter is well done and you notice the blurring on the highlights. I can't wait to try it at dusk to take cinematic effect photos.

This is my first Mist filter so I went with a cheaper one, and I’m glad I did. It works great on my Sigma 35 and 65 f2. Against bright light sources it really pops. It lowers and contrast and makes for a overall smoother image.

As a videographer, I am totally excited about the K&F Concept Nano-K Series Black-Mist 1/4 filter! The effect that the filter creates is simply mega. The filter really comes into its own when taking pictures outdoors or in special lighting conditions (neon advertisements, street lights). The skin also looks wonderfully soft and natural in the picture or video.
The processing of the filter is very high quality and robust. Mounting it on my lens was quick and easy. The filter fits perfectly and sits firmly on my lens, but does not jam.

When I say this filter "takes the edge off". It's positive feedback. I'm new to photography and slowly learning about filters, focal point, aperture, etc. To test this filter out, I used it on my iPhone instead of a traditional camera/DSLR. I viewed the scene through the regular lens then placed the filter over the lens. The scene was softer & the light was not as harsh. The filter did what it said it would do. It diffused the light to spread it over more of the scene without taking it over. From my point of view as a mere beginner, I liked the scene with the filter. The lens itself is solidly built. The frame is sturdy and I could hold and manipulate the filter without fear of dropping it or touching the glass. A carrying case for the filter is included along with microfiber cloths. 5/5 for this filter that takes the edge off a scene, diffuses the light, easy to manipulate with confidence.

I have really enjoyed using softening filters again after years of not using them since my film days. Especially on video!
This 1/4 black diffusion filter is a nice strength, strong enough to have some effect without overdoing it for most uses. Like a bit of light makeup application, a touch of magic. I especially appreciate the effect on video.
I was unfamiliar with K&F Concept until recently but am really appreciating the value and quality of their products. Especially for things you don't need every day. This filter went on the lens easily and I was able to remove it just as easily, something I occasionally struggle with on thin filter mounts.

The filter makes a good impression of quality. The effect is gentle and it gives the images a creative look. I tested the filter with the Tamron 28 -75 2.8 G2 and am satisfied with the results. The model's face is slightly blurred and saves time in post-processing.
