49mm MCUV Filter Brass Frame Multifunctional HD Ultra-Thin Brass Frame 36-Layer Anti-Reflection Green Film Nano-Xcel Pro Series
SKU: KF01.2301
I'm comparing this item KF's regular Nano filter. At the same settings on my Panasonic 85mm f/1.8, I can see more detail coming out of my lens on this Pro filter versus the regular Nano Filter.
Since I love the sharpness of the 85mm, I'd much rather use the sharper filter. It's probably not a big deal to those who aren't pixel peeping but I can definitely see a difference in the hairs and I really like this filter.

The lens looks and feels nice. It seems to be of good quality and would last longer. The storage case looks elegant and comes with a wipe to clean the lens. The few pictures I have taken seem reasonable, and the lens doesn't cause any issues with the quality.

I got this UV protection filter for my dslr lens after scratching another one. This lens is slim and fits well. It is great for adding a layer of protection to your lens. This filter comes in a very nice case for storage. I don’t notice a huge difference in my photos with and without, but the added protection for my lens is worth it.

There are people that claims that when you use an UV filter on your lens, the resulting picture quality is degraded. Maybe my eyes are not that sharp but I cannot tell the difference. This one can be used to protect your lens from dust and the accidental touch with your fingertips. You can clean with included cloth or buy some of these wipes for lenses. Better destroy or damage this one and not your $2,500 lens.

This is the flagship series from K&F, so if you want the absolute best filter they produce, this is it.
It has a brass ring, which is slightly harder than aluminum. That makes it more resilient to binding on the threads, and makes the filter itself feel much nicer in the hand.
It has inner and outer threading, so I can stack filters, or clip my lens cap directly to it. That's great for me as I don't have to ever take this filter off. The main point of this filter for me is protection, and it's so much nicer having a high end piece of glass to put on my high end lens rather than most UV filters that are a piece of plastic.
I tried to make it produce flares, and I couldn't get any. This is the closest thing to a perfect UV filter that I've ever used.
I also really like the design of the case. It has a pull string on the side that'll push the filter out so I don't have to worry about getting fingerprints on it.
Overall a very high end filter.
Highly recommended.

I like to use UV filters for lenses that aren't in the studio enviornment. Nothing sucks more than having the elements contimanate your lens and having to hault the shoot to fix it. The major downside to this approach is the bulk and loss of image quality with inexpensive UV filters.
This filter perfectly addresses that need. It has a very slim profile that is barely noticable - yet still functions great for attaching the lens cap. The small profile also produces less distance between your glass and the filter.
I haven't noticed any ghosting, chromatic aberattions, or other distortions from using this filter. This is very rare - and marks the K&F as a winner in my book.

Ok, so the filter itself is a UV filter and if it is doing its job, it protects your lens from damage, dirt, sand, etc without impacting image quality. K&F is a good brand and this filter does its job.
The filter screwed on nicely without any of the squeaky sounds some filters make. I did not notice any impact on my images.
The filter is thinner than some of my other filters, but it does have knurling in the edges to assist in twisting it on and off.
But enough about the filter...The case is amazing. While some filters come in a hard plastic case filled with form-fitting foam, this filter comes with a leather (albeit maybe fake leather) and canvas semi-rigid case. The inside is lined with a micro suede type material and has a pull string so that you can get the filter out of the case without touching the glass. This pull string raises the filter up out of the pocket of the case much like some wallets that have interior pull strings to push out credit cards.
Overall, I like the filter and am impressed with the amount of energy invested in the case. These seems like a quality product to me

Love this camera lens and the case it came in! Very high resolution picture shots taken with this with unbelievable clarity! Very durable and made with good quality. Love adding this to my photo bag for must have shots!

UV filters are mostly used just to protect the front of your lens. One of the biggest arguments against them, however, is that by using one you are putting a lower quality piece of glass in front of your expensive glass. This can lead to negative impacts in your picture quality such as loss in sharpness, extra glare, loss in contrast, etc. So with that being said, the best thing a UV filter can do is be as unnoticeable as possible and that is exactly what this K&F filter is. I use this filter on my Tampon 70-200 2.8 G2 and I can confidently say I have not experienced any negative impacts on my pictures. I have experienced no glare, no vignetting, and no effects on the image quality. This does perform better than the cheaper UV filters I've bought from K&F Concept in the past. If you have a pro-grade lens and want to protect the front element, I would recommend investing in this UV filter rather than one of the cheaper ones. I think that if you went the cheaper route, you'd either find yourself coming back to get this one or getting frustrated with using a UV filter in general.

This filter, if nothing else, helps keep my marriage on an even keel.
Now I won't rehash the old UV vs non-UV filter debate, but personally I don't really feel I need a UV filter on my DSLR lenses, and if I were the only person using my cameras I wouldn't bother at all as I'm extremely careful with all of my equipment. My wife, on the other hand...
Every time my wife takes out one of my cameras she treats it the same way she treats her sunglasses (lenses down on the dashboard of her car, jamming them in her pockets without a case or a second thought, smudges... just... everywhere. Oh, the humanity). When it comes to optical equipment she's history's greatest monster, a true menace to glass, but complaining about this to her will only ever end in a resentful argument.
So the solution? A high quality UV filter that will protect my lenses without reducing image quality. I've tried cheap filters in the past that I've ended up removing every time I take a shot because there's noticeable degradation in the results, but as this is a high quality filter I can't see any different in the final product with or without the filter. All I see is a clean, scratch- and fingerprint-free lens coming back to me safe and sound, and that's worth its weight in gold.
