LOVE IT! Great value. PERFECT motorcycle / helmet camera. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've had in a long time. This seller went WAY above and beyond to get me a great produce. I bought the R1 and had a slight issue. This Amazon seller corrected my issue with an updated version of the product. I received the R1 Pro. I had no problems downloading the app to my iPhone 13. It was easy to connect to the camera using the Wi-Fi instructions. The camera is easy to install and functions very well so far. I am loving that I did not have to spend $300 (i.e. Sena brand) on a really nice little helmet camera. I can have the app open while I’m driving with the camera on and I can actually see what the camera sees so I know if I’m getting good shots. This thing is perfect. What are you waiting for… Just buy the R1 now!

I have 2 of these camera/bluetooth devices. My daughter and I communicate with them while riding. Had a bit of an issue downloading the videos, but customer service was excellent and they communicated until we got it. Camera has good quality video and sound. Easy to install and would recommend this small camera for ease of use.

I like the fact that it came with two mics if you have a full face then the bigger mic just gets in the way.the sound is perfect and clean and so are the calls..it’s really user friendly..the camera is clear and the wide view highly recommend

This is a great headset for the price. Great sound quality and excellent camera quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a bluetooth headset.

Sound quality could definitely be better but over all, its a good product. Video transfer is a bit slow when uploading to phone.

i had an issue with a unit that would not charge. the company very politely apologized for the inconvience and compensated me with a new unit that works quite well so far. i was also returned 20$ for the inconvience.

I am very happy with the FreedConn R1 headset! The only recommendation I would have is to make the speakers louder. The headset helps me stay handsfree. I have a speaker installed on my bike, but with the wind noise I can't hear it at high speeds. With the R1 I can actually hear the music, but it is a bit low when on the highway. I wish I would have purchased the R1 sooner! It definitely improved my rides!!! Best bang for the my bucks!
Plus all of the features you get it is absolutely worth the money. You can listen to music, record your rides, and take phone calls!

What I like:
-Great sound quality, I like my music loud usually, and you can hear it great over the wind! Got me dancing at stoplights lol!!
- Good Video Quality for the price, I really got this camera for safety reasons, not necessarily for vlogging, so if you’re a vlogger I would recommend a higher quality camera. But overall, for safety reasons, the video is good!!
- The app records in 3 minute video segments so in the case of an accident, it will save the video within that time frame
- Once you figure out the buttons, it’s easy to operate
- Can connect to other freedcons for an intercom experience
- Came with a booklet that will be your bible to learning all the features of the product!!
- I haven’t taken a call yet while riding, but I tried it out after installing, and the call functions work great and the quality on both ends is equally as great!! I’ve heard from other reviewers that the person on the end of the line won’t tell that you’re even on a motorcycle!
- Came with a 64gb micro sd card, so you can view photos and videos either on your computer or through the app.
- Battery life, so far so good!!!
- Comes with 2 interchangeable microphones, one that’s kinda like a boom mic, and the other is a little Velcro button, I recommend the smaller mic for full face helmets like mine.
- Having video makes riding more fun so you can show your friends! :)

What I dislike:
- I wish it was vlogging video quality, and it does not record sound either (makes sense because all you would hear is wind)
- Somewhat easy to install if you know how to put your padding back in your helmet, just took way too long for me to figure it all out!
- Makes the padding in your helmet a bit more snug, so if you already have a well fitted helmet, it may be tight on your head from installing the speakers underneath the padding
- It took me waaaaay too long to figure out all the buttons and how the app works, the app is kinda Janky, but it functions.
- **IMPORTANT I HOPE YOU READ THIS FAR** you would think the power button turns it off. Nope. You have to turn off the camera function & disconnect the Bluetooth from your phone for it to go into standby mode and then it turns off by itself. Even though it doesn’t take long to turn off after being in standby, I think it still wastes a lil bit of battery and I don’t like that.

Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase, and I think the music makes up for anything that the video lacks. Riding with this accessory makes me feel so much more safe while riding and it’s a life changer to be able to listen to music! First song I listened to was Yamborghini High by ASAP Rocky! 8.5/10 recommend!!

Sd card error was resolved quickly. Not their fault that it was bad, they didnt make it. But they made it right bc it was their product.
