Extremely quick and easy to set up, this weather station consists of just connecting to a USB-C power source or inserting three AAA batteries (not included). When switched on, the settings are controlled by radio, so that the time, date and moon phase are set automatically and the outside temperature is read from the separate outdoor unit, which runs on AAA batteries. When testing the outdoor unit, there was a temperature deviation of 0.5°C compared to other monitors and when the outdoor unit was placed indoors next to the indoor unit. However, as a home user, that doesn't worry me. Features include a graphical weather display, barometric pressure (missing from several other weather stations), humidity readings, a clock, and an alarm clock. Alerts can be set during severe weather, such as a frost or excessive heat warning to protect vulnerable crops or covering a car's windshield to protect against frost. Instructions are printed on the back to remind the user of the use of the additional functions of the weather station. Because many instruction manuals are misfiled or lost, having the instructions printed on the actual product can be extremely helpful. The display is bright and clear and can be hung on the wall via the built-in stand or used on the desk. There was a power outage yesterday during a storm and within minutes of power being restored the unit reset and was running again without user intervention. We have used quite a few weather stations and this is the best of them all so far. Recommended because of its ease of use, total reliability, comprehensive range of functions and attractive appearance.

really like this weather station. My old device, which I've been proud of for a long time, has started to have problems and no longer connects properly to the outdoor sensor. So this is a welcome replacement. The scope of delivery includes the main display, the outdoor sensor, a USB cable with plug and a user manual. Set up is very simple, the main unit either requires batteries or you can plug them in, the outdoor sensor requires batteries, once operational there is a row of buttons on top of the main display unit that you can use to change the time, date etc. Or if you connect the device with the cable like I did, it will set itself automatically. The outdoor sensor hooked up with no problems, but there are two small buttons (test and temperature) and a switch on the inside of the battery compartment that allows you to change the channel it's transmitting from should you find it can't connect Slide the switch and see if that helps. I mounted the outdoor sensor on the wall of our shed about 10 feet from the unit that sits on the kitchen windowsill and it works perfectly. I love the big, clear color display (my old one was black and white) and the moon phases that I had on my last device, which I was dying to keep. My only criticism of this device is that the color display goes dark after 10 seconds on battery power by default. In order to be able to use the device optimally, it is essential to connect it. There's also an alarm clock function if needed, but I don't use that. All in all, this is a great article and I hope to spend as many years on it as I did on my last one.

I've been looking for an indoor/outdoor weather station for a while and this unit is the perfect starting point for a weather station. There is an indoor unit and an outdoor unit, both of them can be battery powered, and the indoor unit can also be powered by USB plug cable. The interior offers a clear and bright screen that is easy to prepare. Provides clear information on indoor and outdoor temperature, barometric pressure readings and moon phases. Setting up these devices is very simple and everything is connected within minutes. For what it offers, it's quite decent and easy to read and understand. Would definitely recommend.

good looking base unit with a clear, easy to read screen. The base can be powered by batteries and in this mode the screen goes to sleep, the backlight turns off, but you can still see some details. To activate it, touch at the bottom of the screen. Powered by the USB-C port, the screen backlight stays on and has three levels of brightness. The clock is set by radio and should therefore be accurate. If there are problems with signal reception, it can be set manually. It also shows the phases of the moon along with an indication of the possible weather (I think that can be deduced from the pressure, temperature and humidity conditions). One sensor is included in the box, but it supports up to three. The sensor will automatically sync to the base, but this can be done manually if required. The remote control also shows the temperature and humidity on the built-in display. The base displays the indoor temperature where it is located and the temperature where the remote control is mounted. The remote control can be operated perfectly at a distance of more than 20 meters from the base. Note that the remote control is not waterproof and therefore needs to be protected from rain etc. There are a number of buttons on the top of the base for settings etc including an alarm clock function if you want to use it as an alarm clock/weather station for your bedroom. The kit appears to be well made from good quality plastic including the remote control. Batteries are not included with the station, so you will need 5 AAA batteries.

The base unit itself can be powered via USB Type-C or batteries, but provided that it's in use, the screen goes to sleep after around 10 seconds and needs a quick tap to wake it up again. Due to the use of radio wave signal reception, all information should be collected when the device is first turned on. However, there are manual options for setting the time etc. If there's no reception, an alarm clock function is also included should you want to make use of it, making it an all-in-one solution. It comes with a single (non-waterproof) sensor that can be used either outdoors or in another room. A sensor is integrated into the base unit itself, so initially two temperatures are displayed on the device IN/OUT. The device supports up to three of these sensors and could therefore theoretically monitor the temperatures of three additional locations provided they are within range of the base device. However, the price and availability of additional sensors is not yet known at the time of review. It is a quality product that is highly recommended for home use. Hopefully, for business users out there, additional sensors will be easy to source and reasonably priced. This would be a great product to monitor additional rooms or areas as well.

Overall, this is a good weather station. Easy to set up. One thing I noticed was that when I first got the device and connected it with the adapter, the screen went dark after 10 seconds. It seems that whenever the atomic clock is telling the time, the screen goes dark. Once the atomic clock was set, the screen stayed on. The atomic clock gets the time at 1am, 2am, and 3am (and on first use). At these times, the screen will go dark for exactly 3 minutes and then turn on again. It was so frustrating at first. I figured I had a defective unit and would be willing to return it. I finally figured it out and I'm happy with it.

I've been looking at weather stations for a while and this one does the job really well. It runs on batteries or USB-C and displays all the basic information you need. It has a separate small unit to measure the outside temperature and humidity. Although I couldn't find the IP/waterproof rating of the device anywhere, I placed it on a windowsill under the eaves of the house. When you turn it on for the first time it finds the signal and constantly tunes in and displays the temperature/humidity, moon phase etc. So far the forecast seems to have been pretty accurate and the display is really nice and clear. It would have been nice to see a full 7 day forecast on it, but you might pay more money for that. I seem to have poor signals in my bungalow, even for the internet, and this is picking up data just fine from the outdoor unit in the back garden, but I need to have the main unit on my front room windowsill to get a signal for all the data. By and large and Overall it's a nice weather station that would have been nice to see just a few little extra features.

This weather station is easy to install and provides an accurate reading of conditions outside the home. It doesn't feature wind measurement, but that's to be expected at this price point. Recommended.
