The "Weather Station with Outdoor Sensor" from "ALongSong" is a handy wireless weather station that provides a wide range of daily information on its clear digital display. Setting up the weather station is surprisingly simple. The outdoor sensor requires 2x AAA batteries which are not included, so you will need some. The indoor digital display can be connected to mains power/USB pot or you can also use batteries to power it. Personally, I chose to plug it into the mains using a simple USB plug adapter. The linking of the display with the outdoor sensor was done automatically for me. I have the sensor in my garden shed about 20 meters from the display unit. It had no problem connecting instantly at that distance, and it continued to provide seemingly consistent and accurate temperature readings from the garden shed. During the day, the display unit is constantly illuminated by the LCD back and is therefore very easy to read, even from a distance or at a cursory glance. At night, the blue backlit back doesn't emit too much light that might bother you if you have it in your bedroom. I placed it on a dresser at the other end of the bedroom and didn't find the constant, dim lighting disturbing at all. The processing quality and the materials used for both the display unit and the wireless outdoor sensor are excellent overall. They are made from a tough and durable injection molded hard plastic that will easily withstand a few accidental knocks and bumps without suffering damage. All in all I was very impressed with the set. It works well, seems fairly accurate, and provides real-time information that is easy to read.

Perfect little device for anyone who wants to keep track of weather conditions without having to go out. It also provides readings about the temperature inside the house and other parameters like humidity. In addition, it has numerous functions that allow you to customize the data received and how it is displayed. Another point I appreciate about this weather station is its ease of use. It's designed to be easy to set up and use, even for those who aren't particularly tech-savvy. It comes with clear instructions and all the necessary components, so you'll have it up and running in no time.

A very clear, easy to read backlit screen that displays indoor/outdoor temperature, indoor/outdoor humidity, time and date/day of the week, moon phase and cloud/sun indicator. There is also an alarm clock function. The screen also displays barometric pressure and provides a weather trend. There is a small transmitter unit outside, the location of which is important for an accurate measurement. Both the indoor unit and the transmitter unit require batteries, a total of 5 x AAA. Very neat and quality construction.
