The sensor for this is about 9 meters from the device, through several plaster and batten walls, and reception is still excellent. It is updated regularly and appears to be correct. Setting up the weather station itself is a bit confusing, but not terrible. It displays the time, date, indoor temperature and humidity, outdoor temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, moon phase and an approximate weather forecast. With the backlight on, it is very bright and easy to read. It's very hard to see when it's off, but simply touching the weather station's bottom bezel will turn on the backlight. For the price, this is a great little weather station.

This is a great temperature monitor for indoor and outdoor use. The main unit is on our dining table and the outside temperature/humidity sensor is mounted on our back patio. I have to admit that I didn't read the instructions and was frustrated at first because I couldn't read the screen. It was too dark. After playing around with it for a few minutes, I realized that to activate the backlight, I had to touch the small bulb label on the bottom of the device. Once I do that, everything is fine. The temperatures listed on the unit are accurate and also match my old school thermometer mounted on the patio. This device also has humidity and moon phases, which is also cool. We really like this little weather station.

This is extremely handy for knowing the time, date and weather conditions inside and outside your home. What I like best is that set up was a breeze. The indoor unit can be connected to a wall via an included USB-C cable and the outdoor unit only requires two AAA batteries. My device synced automatically and was up and running within minutes. Setting time, date, time, zone and format is intuitive and easy. I have also tested it with my home thermostat and it is accurate! The size is reasonable; The device is large enough to see clearly, but small enough to be relatively unobtrusive in the room. It also has an auto dimming feature for night time which is handy. Unlike some other devices that only have an outdoor sensor and no temperature display, this device also displays the temperature on the outdoor sensor, which is handy when you are outside.

I like the fact that it's a compact design but packs a lot of easy-to-read information. My recent weather readings contained limited information and were often inaccurate. Accuracy appears to be on par with regular thermometers and other weather inputs. I like big numbers. The case and stand feel sturdy and don't take up much space in my kitchen!

Good weather station, nice large display and feels high quality. Operation with 3xAAA batteries for the main display unit and 2xAAA batteries for the outdoor sensor, which are not included. The main display unit has a USB-C socket. It is not specified what this is for. So I'm assuming this is for easy charging when using rechargeable batteries (haven't tried so can't be sure). The display unit can be wall mounted or has a foldable stand for the table or counter. Very informative and seemingly accurate. A few things I didn't like is that the display is backlit and you have to press a button to see more clearly since I mounted it on the wall my daughter can't reach it or see the weather forecast. She also liked that our old weather station had a person icon that showed different outfits depending on the weather. She really enjoyed this and was disappointed we don't have that on this one. £35.99 (at the time of review) is a good price, they are really useful and durable. But as it's more of a 'nice to have' item I'd say it's cheaper at around £25.

This is a great little weather station that gives you up to date information about your exact location! I love how it sets itself up automatically and frankly it's pretty much plug and play! I ended up using it in my conservatory to monitor the humidity when I let my clothes dry while opening and closing the windows as needed. Would recommend!

Keeps k going back to the original factory settings, although this may be due to internet issues, otherwise an excellent product.

I have installed this in my caravan to keep a check on the weather and it was really easy to install.
I have installed the wireless sensor on the outside of the caravan and it seems to be giving good readings.
The instructions are a little confusing but I'm slowly getting to grips with it and it's a great little weather station for keeping check on the weather while I'm away at my caravan.
Yes I know I can check it on my phone but but I just wanted something there mounted on the wall to glance at in a second.
It has a good backlight and plenty of information displayed.
Overall I'm very pleased with this and would definitely recommend.
Currently £42.99 with a 15% discount I find a solid price and well worth it.

ALongSong has provided us with a nice looking weather station and at first glance everything seems to be working as promised, nice and accurate. But the instructions don't help as they obviously haven't been tested on an uninitiated customer who saw them for the first time. My main problems have been dealing with more useful features, such as B. occasionally using the backlight in the dark and setting the time etc automatically via the radio signal (the whole point) rather than manually (easy), which wasn't so good. I walked it around the house with it trying to find a signal (flashing satellite dish) and the only place with a result (radiation lines emanating from the dish) stood by an open window and held it at arm's length for a couple minutes, until it stopped blinking. Luckily the sun was shining. I shouldn't have to do this. The case has six buttons that are mostly self-explanatory, with helpful callouts on the back of the case clarifying functions, and the instructions are mostly consistent; SET UP/MEM/RCC DOWN/T-ALERT/°C/°F PRESSURE CHANNEL ALERT BUT the instructions seem to list a seventh button which I can't find: SNOOZE/LIGHT. You'd think it's part of the ALARM functions, but not for me, and I tried following the instructions first, then other permutations that seemed worth trying. Nothing SNOOZE related worked. The remote sensor seems to work, but it's definitely not waterproof. I find this a bit strange for an "outdoor sensor", especially when the sensor for my much older station survived fifteen years outside on the north wall of the house next to a bathroom window. I wouldn't even consider putting the ALongSong outdoor sensor in that convenient location; Within a few weeks, it would fill up with tiny spiders and moisture. It's all a shame because it looks good and is easy to read when powered by USB, but on battery power it needs a light or flashlight and I want to know what's going on outside if I'm still there in the morning waking up snug and warm under the covers. Addendum August 3, 2023 The clock runs slow and loses about 5 seconds a day. That's fine if there's a signal to reset every night, but if it can't find the signal easily, like in my example, you'll soon notice that it's a few minutes slow! My very cheap watch goes to a second or two for a whole week, so there's no excuse for this watch from Alongsong.
