Weather Station Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Large LCD Display Digital Temperature Humidity Monitor, Weather Thermometer with Calendar and Automatic Light Sensing Function
SKU: GW40.0004
The weather sensor has a solid build and looks durable. The display is nice and clear plus the device displays accurate levels every time. The auto-light sensing feature is a good addition. Also, setting it up was an easy process. A good product to keep track of the weather conditions

This weather station utilises radio wave signal reception to achieve it's information, the unit can be installed on a wall so it looks like a panel or placed on a suitable surface utilising the included stand, it also has the ability to connect up to three battery powered sensors for the temperature monitoring of different areas and these will apparently work up to 100m away from the base unit, the main unit can be powered both by Usb type c cable or battery power with a couple of caveats if utilising batteries.
Item arrives boxed in a branded box which contains the unit itself, Usb type c power cable and instruction booklet, note however if powering the unit by batteries a total of 5 X AAA batteries are required, 3 X AAA for the base unit and 2 X AAA for the sensor, these are not supplied.
The weather station is comprised of high quality and durable plastic, the main unit along with it's sensor appear well manufactured, though it should be noted that the included sensor is not waterproof if mounting externally.
The weather station features a large high resolution LCD screen, thus providing easily read information such as the time, date, weather forecast, indoor and outdoor temperature, moon phase, humidity and atmospheric pressure.
The weather station features an automatic light sensor that adjusts screen brightness on it's backlit screen, however you can also manually adjust this to a level you feel comfortable with, the base unit itself can be powered via Usb type c or batteries, however if batteries are utilised the screen will go to sleep after around 10 seconds requiring a quick tap to engage it again.
Due to utilising radio wave signal reception all information should be gained when first powering on the device, however there are manual options of setting the time etc if reception cannot be acquired, there is also included an alarm clock function if you should choose to utilise it, thus making this an all in one solution.
There is included a single (not waterproof) sensor for use either externally or in another room, one sensor is incorporated into the base unit itself, therefore initially there are two temperatures displayed on the unit IN/OUT. The unit supports up to three of these sensors, therefore could theoretically monitor the temperatures of an additional three locations, assuming they are within range of the base unit, the price and availability of additional sensors is however undetermined at time of review.
This is a quality product that comes highly recommended for domestic use, hopefully for the business users out there additional sensors are easy to come by and priced reasonably, this would make for a great product to monitor additional rooms or sections too.

I like that clear screen and big numbers. The outdoor sensor seems to have a very good range and updates quickly. Like another reviewer, I had trouble getting it out within 24 hours but somehow got it to work. The screen is nice and easy to read, I wish the light could be on constantly to be able to read it all the time, but I understand that wouldn't be possible as it's battery powered. The automatic time setting works great!

The sensor for this is about 30 feet away from the unit, through several plaster-and-lathe walls, and reception is still great. It updates regularly and seems to be accurate. The weather station itself is a little confusing to set up, but not terrible.
It displays the time, date, indoor temperature and humidity, outdoor temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, moon phase, and an approximate weather forecast. With the backlight on it is very bright and easy to read. With it off, it's very difficult to see, but simply touching the bottom frame of the weather station turns the backlight on.
For the price, this is a great little weather station.

This is a great indoor/outdoor temp monitor. The main unit is on our dining table and the outside Temp/Humidity sensor is mounted on our back patio. I have to admit, I did not read the instructions, and I got frustrated at first because I couldn't read the screen. It was too dark. So after messing around with it for a few minutes, I realized that I have to touch the little lightbulb sign on the bottom of the unit to activate the background light.
Once I did that, then all is good. The temperatures listed on the unit are accurate and match my old school thermometer mounted on the patio as well. This unit also has humidity and phases of the moon, which is also cool. We really like this little weather station.

This is my first weather station, and my main purpose in getting it was to have an accurate thermostat in my living space as my heat and AC thermostats' settings are suggestions at best. (They are very old, with levers that you adjust manually between five degree marks maybe a millimeter wide, and they don't work well.) So the internal temperature and humidity readings which are taken by the primary weather station itself are great. And the clock is great after I realised the On/Off setting in the time section was for daylight saving, not an alarm of some sort. Now the clock is keeping correct time without adjusting itself in the middle of the night to something other than what I had entered. In my opinion, the instruction manual could be a little clearer.
Speaking of the clock adjusting itself in the middle of the night, this is because the secondary sensor unit, which is supposed to be in contact with a weather tower, only manages to connect once in a while, maybe once at night, in my area. This means that the outdoor temperature, humidity, and weather conditions icon are never right. When the weather station is used in an area with a good connection to a weather tower, it keeps updating everything throughout the day. I just live in a spotty connection area apparently.
So I do get the right time, date, and internal temperature and humidity level, as well as the moon phase, which is pretty neat, but the out door temperature, humidity, and weather conditions are inaccurate. For two days it showed the symbol for rain when it was completely sunny and dry. It usually seems to just show clouds regardless of what is going on outside. So, It seems to work as it is supposed to, when you have signal from a local weather station to keep it up to date. The display itself is nice, large black numbers on a blue background, with an auto dimming feature for the intensity of the background light as compared to the light in your room. Overall, I recommend the weather station, but it may or may not work well in some areas.

This gives me the correct time, date, and indoor temperature, humidity, and moon phase, which is pretty decent, but the outdoor temperature, humidity, and weather conditions are imprecise.
