If you think you might need this, yes you do. The inkbirdplus CO2 monitor saves me from adding extra CO2 to my garden even though I didn't need it at all. I was worried that I wasn't getting enough CO2 and after starting the device I found that I had an almost toxic build up of CO2. I was wondering why I would feel sick working there. Now I know. It's a great unit with a pretty good track record. Is it the most accurate device you can buy? No. Is it reasonably accurate? Yes. If you think you need one, then do it. Remember to leave the backlight off (which you can easily do with the push of a button) if you don't want it interfering with your light cycle. It is powered and charged via a USB cable. However, don't expect the battery to last more than a day or so unless you leave it plugged in. Remember to turn off the little light when you're done measuring. Enjoy!

This is a cool looking little monitor with a very sharp and clear screen that's not too bright but still readable from across the room. The temperature is accurate, but I can't verify the CO2 or humidity levels, so when in doubt I'll assume that until proven otherwise. I had to look at the instructions to understand all the features, e.g. Press or hold the buttons as they're just labeled a plus, minus, and circle power button, but it's easy to follow. It's not exactly subtle, but that's not the goal. It is a very easy to read monitor that mainly measures CO2 with temperature and humidity display.

When I first received this CO2 monitor I was impressed with the packaging. The quality of the packaging was what you would expect from high-end electronics. It came with the USB cable needed to get it hooked up, but you'll need to use your own USB adapter, which I'm sure most people have plenty of. After charging it I followed the steps to calibrate which was easy. I have no other way to check my CO2 levels but I have to say I trust it after calibration. The temperature and humidity readings match what is listed on my home's thermostat. If I stand near the device, the CO2 level increases, if I pick up the device and breathe into the device, the CO2 level rises very, very high, if I take the device outside, the reading drops , and after being away from home all day, the reading is back is deeper. All of this is exactly what you would expect. It has only a few buttons for the basic functions of turning the alarm on and off, changing the temperature scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit, turning the device on/off and turning off the backlight. My only criticism of the device is that it only lasts about 24 hours without a battery with the backlight always on. So if you want to keep it always on to measure CO2, it needs to be plugged in or charged daily. The backlight is fairly bright, which is great in a well-lit area, but a bit too bright in a dark room, in my opinion. If you need to know your CO2 levels (I was just considering putting an HRV in my home's air conditioner should be fitted), this unit is easy to set up and CO2 readings are incredibly easy. It worked perfectly for my needs.

picked it up to monitor what's happening in my houseplant tent. Easy to set up and get started. It's also a really beautiful piece. It doesn't look like one of those cheesy thermometer-hygrometer combos that belong in the kitchen drawer. The battery only lasts about 24 hours with the screen backlight on, but that's okay as it's actually recommended to leave it plugged in while in use. I also have an Inkbird humidistat. Overall I've been very happy with Inkbird and this monitor is no exception.

bought this monitor to decide if I would like to run an outside air line to provide fresh air to my skimmer and improve the pH in my aquarium. The room turned out to be fine! The cost of this monitor is negligible compared to the money saved. Also, I have peace of mind that it's there for future adjustments as things change. Money well spent - would buy again!

am a refrigerated container and bought this to monitor indoor CO2 emissions as this affects the pH of my tanks. InkBird brand has the best hobby temperature controller so I have no hesitation in buying this one from them. The screen is bright and clear, with a scale making it easy to see the level even from across the room. Since receiving it, I've also been monitoring and comparing CO2 levels in different places at different times of the day. Now I also know the level of my bedrooms. I'm trying to know when to open the windows to circulate fresh air inside! I should have gotten this sooner. Not these double duties for my hobby and also for health reasons... so this should be able to justify the purchase from my dear wife...

I was impressed with the packaging. It came with the USB cable, but you need to use your own USB adapter. I let it charge and followed the steps to calibrate which was easy. Overall a nice easy to use/learn product. I would recommend it to a friend

This monitor works well and is easy to use! It matched well compared to my other CO2 detector and when taken outside it reported 410 which was expected so I was very happy with it! The only downside is that the battery could last longer for my personal taste, but it's adequate, especially considering that it's USB powered, which is very flexible. All in all I would recommend it to everyone!
