This K&F Concept Fluid Head would be a good tripod head even at a higher price. For it's actual price it's almost a bargain. Definitely a good value, a five star offering in it's price range.

I love most things about it with one minor quibble.

First the good. It's not super heavy yet also solidly built and not flimsy. I can mount the handle for my left handedness. The tilt and pan are both adjustable and smooth. My little quibble is with the tilt, a tad bit more resistance than I like even at it's loosest. Usage seems to be helping that somewhat. The resistance on the pan is perfect for me at the loosest and it's nice to be able to lock down either function. It mounts securely and easily on my tripods and monopod. Not difficult to remove. Takes a bit of strength there if I've really tightened it but not ridiculously so.

The telescoping handle with it's lock positioning is great. Really helps reduce the storage space the whole thing takes up. Which isn't much in the first place.

My photos aren't with a camera on it but it handles my Canon 5dIV with the 200 f2.8 (one of my longest and heaviest lenses) quite well.

This is another great product find from K&F Concepts, a brand I've only become familiar with in the past year but one I've come to trust for decent products at a reasonable price.

One of my favorite fluid head to travel with. It’s perfect to pair with a good lightweight travel tripod/monopod for vlogging, capturing wildlife or just plain filming yourself. It’s very versatile and super smooth
Great fluid head!

This K&F Concept video tripod with fluid head was a pleasure to examine use and evaluatge. It features quick release witgh a plate provided but what I really liked about that is that the plate is very simple and will allow many other release plates to be used. No fancy release plates that are unecessarily oversized or have certain requirements to trip levers and gadgets etc. No this one took six of my release plates. Two of which would work on one other tripod that I use. The K&F flluid head accepted all six and gripped them firmly...not a single thought about whether or not my camera was secure. With so many other design nightmares out there, there is always athe risk of a cam-lock letting loose or some other grip feature failing and causing your camera to be the victim of an inadvertent quick release to the floor.
They wont be selling many extra release plates that is for sure but they will be selling many more of this excellent fluid head.

The other nice innovation is the handle. You can insert it into the split hemispheres from either end.
A quick way to get it on the other side of your face while adjusting a telephoto, binoculars, or camera.
Pretty innovative, simple but very handy when needed.satisfying.

The handle which appears short in the pictures can be extended by a simple half twist and pull it back to the length that provides the best action or advantage for you. It is as long or even longer than some popular others. I like the fact that it can be compacted to a demure length. That makes for easy packing when it is installed on a tripod.

The fluid action of the head is very smooth.
Balance adjustments to level plane are easy to attain.
The machining and finish work is well done. I enjoy holding an item like this in my hands and closely examining the fine mechanical details. This head is worthy of the finest tripod.
That is my opinion. It is also my opinion that this company will be selling sizable quantities of this product.

It really looks nice...."right smart" as they say, perched upon one of my best tripods.
The rating for this K&F Concept video tripod will be 5 BIG Stars.
For performance, quality construction, practical innovations that bring value more ways than one.
I hope that you will be as well satisfied with this item as I was.

For an amateur videographer this is a smooth, light and stable head. It mounts fairly each and between the length of the Arca-Swiss bracket and the head you should be able to get the camera balanced. Even when I did not have it balance, it did not want to just flop down, so that is very good.
The motion os smooth and I like the the handle telescope out making it easier to transport yet functional. I like being able to leave it on vs others you need to removed when transporting. this one it is still easy to remove though.
I would have like the base to be a little larger but perhaps on smaller tripods the base is a good size.

I picked up the new K&F Concept Tripod Video Fluid Head for my in-home studio.

Pros: superfluid and smooth panning, tilting functionality with knob locking, excellent build quality - aluminum alloy build, extendable & retractable arm for better video control & storage, compatible with all arca swiss plates, easy turn & lock aluminum locking knobs, load up to 11lbs/5kg, quick-release plate: 1/4" screw, anti-slide locks on the bottom, thick tacky rubber on the top

Cons: I'll explain in my comparison below

Comparison: I have a [Pro]Master SPCH-20 which is a pro head for 1/3 more than the K&F. I love the functionality of the ProMaster head and truly love the locking mechanism for the plate, which is my favorite function of the head altogether - which is kinda my issue with the K&F, except for one positive, even though they're both arca compatible, the K&F actually works with my quick release system over the ProMaster, making the gripe a kind of moot point.

Overall: If you're looking for a Tripod/Monopod Fluid Video Head at a great price point, then I wouldn't look much further than this K&F. I've used others, and really, for what you're getting this K&F has all the functionality and fluidity you'd ever need, especially for the price.

I didn't take a good pic of it mounted, but wanted to share what I had. I decided to mount this on a horizontal tripod arm since I wanted to use the tripod's main mount for a light stick. At a loose setting this mount wants to return to level, and is very smooth responding to inputs. As you'd expect the locking knobs do a good job of adding resistance or locking down movement. Compared to heads I've used in the past his one feels very smooth and appears to be well made.

I own a number of fine K&F products and have been very happy with their craftsmanship, this FH-01 Fluid head is no exception. At this price point there are many small fluid heads available. Compared to these others the K&F is a leap above the competition. I have included a comparison of one well-made head to see the difference in girth. Although the others are slightly lighter, they do not have the functionality of the FH-01.

The larger barrel translates to an excellent damper for both tilts and pans. There is a feeling of the camera floating. This is ultimately what I am looking for in a fluid head. This is the game-changer at this price-point. The attached video demonstrates the floating quality of the camera movement.

The head is well-machined with nice large knurled knobs for tightening. The Arca-Swiss quick release works well with my many Arca-Swiss compatible plates.

And this is the first small head that works well with my larger Sony A7r and a long lens. The heavier camera does not fight the head with as some of the competitors.
