I expected better packaging for the delivery. The original package was slightly squashed, but luckily everything inside was fine. The filters are well-made, and the case is nice too. I tried out the first few shots with them right away and can't complain. Nothing that bothers me. You just have to be careful not to screw the filters on too tightly, otherwise they'll be difficult to remove. That's how it was the first time, and after that, it wasn't a problem.

K&F Concept ND Filter Set 58mm ND8+ND64+ND1000 Filters, approx. €35. As a hobby photographer, and even more so for astrophotography, I naturally need a sturdy tripod, for example, to be able to take long-exposure shots at night with the mount. Until now, I've been lacking strong ND filters for daytime use. K&F offers a set of three in a slim mount for relatively little money in this segment. The three filters ND8, 64, and 1000 are delivered in a foldable bag. The filters can also be easily screwed onto an existing skylight; the thread dimensions are precisely adhered to. The packaging includes three wet cleaning wipes. I conducted the test with manual settings on my Fujifilm X-E2. Set it to f/22 and set it to 1 second using the Rollei remote shutter release in bulb mode. As you can see, the first image without the ND filter is completely overexposed. ND8 at least shows an overexposed sky, but ND1000 is the end of it, or rather, as expected, deep night. Only at F10 and 30 seconds did I finally get a clear image again. Of course, I could have shot the ocean—had there been one nearby—or a stream with a long exposure, but with today's sunny weather, wind turbines are a change, aren't they? :-) In the oblique light, I couldn't detect any optical defects or inclusions on the filters. Conclusion: For the money, including the filter bag, I give them 5 stars.

now own numerous K&F products and still remember very well the first filter sets from the company many years ago. Back then, K&F already offered a comprehensive range including accessories - the quality back then was more for amateur photographers. Many years later, the tide has turned, as this filter set clearly demonstrates. The workmanship is top-notch, and the set is ideal for use with cameras without their own ND setting. The image quality does not suffer; a very slight color deviation is noticeable in direct comparison. The filter thread is well-made, allowing easy screwing onto the lens thread. In my case, onto the Sigma Art 24-70mm. The included bag for safely transporting the filters is nice. In addition, all filters are individually wrapped - the small bags can be reused and don't necessarily have to end up in the trash. For cleaning the filters, only three cleaning cloths are included - great! Conclusion: A superb ND filter set with very good workmanship and typical K&F accessories. The price-performance ratio is good!

Photographers are usually happy when there is plenty of light. But there are also situations where you want to reduce the amount of light, for example to generate long exposure times. ND filters are the perfect tool for this. The set of three ND filters reviewed here contains three ND filters (ND8 / ND64 and ND1000), allowing an exposure increase of 3 / 6 or 10 f-stops with a single filter. If necessary, the filters can also be combined to allow for additional values. The filters are delivered individually packaged in a practical storage case which, when folded up, doesn't take up much space in your camera bag or backpack. The first positive thing I noticed during testing: the filters screw easily into the thread of my 67mm diameter lenses. Removing them is also easy and is assisted by the ribbing on the filter frame. I tested all three filters for light reduction and achieved a suitable increase in exposure time in each case. However, with the ND1000 filter attached, the autofocus no longer worked. You should focus manually without the filter first and then use the filter. During my initial tests, I didn't notice any disturbing color deviations. The package includes three individually wrapped cleaning cloths, which I'm sure will come in handy sooner or later. My conclusion: A well-designed ND filter set with an attractive price-performance ratio. It's worth 5 stars in my opinion.

Since I've primarily photographed with variable ND filters so far, I wanted to get a set with fixed values to give me even more flexibility. The filters have different darkening levels: ND8 - corresponds to 3 f-stops ND64 - corresponds to 6 f-stops ND1000 - corresponds to 10 f-stops To calculate the shutter speed, you simply multiply the time by the ND number. For example, if you have a shutter speed of 1/1000s and want to use an ND64 filter, you get a speed of 1/15s. An example: 1 / 1000 = 0.001 * 64 = 0.064s For times less than 1s you have to take the reciprocal, so: 1 / 0.064 = 15.624 which is a new shutter speed of around 1/15s You can work this out with a calculator, or you can use one of the many apps that calculate the whole thing very easily on your smartphone; you just have to enter the values. Alternatively, you can experiment a bit and after a while you will have enough experience that you can roughly estimate it without calculating. Alternatively, you can find tables online that you can print out and take with you. But enough of the theory. The filters make a very high-quality impression. Of course, you can buy filters like these in completely different price ranges and for a professional photographer who makes a living from them that might be fine, but for the average photographer who does it as a hobby or simply doesn't shoot in the high-end range, these filters are great. They are very flat, which has the advantage that you don't see any vignette in the corners of wide-angle lenses. You can even combine the filters to achieve even longer shutter speeds. Yes, you could even combine them with a variable filter. Generally speaking, you can set the right shutter speed for pretty much all common situations using these three filters alone. You can always compensate a little with aperture and ISO. When combining them, you just have to be aware that the filters add a bit of bulk to the front of the lens, and you may then have to expect vignetting with ultra-wide-angle lenses. I tested the filters with my Tamron 28-75m f2.8 and had no problems at all. The image quality is very good, especially considering the price. Getting three filters for just under €50 (at the time of writing this review) is a very good deal. You also get a case included, in which you can safely transport the three. The filters are simply pushed into the respective bag. You just have to be careful not to touch the glass when removing it, as you'll leave fingerprints on it. But with a little care, that's avoidable. For me, this is a fantastic set, and it deserves 5 stars. Of course, I can also recommend it. It's a good solution for beginners and advanced photographers alike. Professional photographers usually have their favorite brands and models of filters anyway.

use the ND filter set for my Nikon Z5 camera and for the Nikkor z 24-70 f2.8 and Nikkor z 14-30 f4 lenses. I also have step-up rings for my other lenses with smaller filter diameters. The filter set includes the following parts: - three 82mm ND filters in strengths 8, 64, and 1000 - a storage bag - three cleaning cloths The filters are slim to minimize the risk of vignetting. The filters make a decent impression, and their quality is perfectly adequate for me as an amateur photographer, since I only use ND filters occasionally. I consider the price/performance ratio to be excellent.

For just under €50, you get three high-quality filters that fit perfectly on your lens, along with an incredibly high-quality, foldable storage bag made of premium material. The quality of the filters is outstanding, and they even have a partially textured edge for attaching and detaching the filters. This small detail alone is a unique selling point. The colorfastness of the filters is also good. Only the ND1000 filter has a relatively strong blue tint, but even this can be easily corrected in post-production. All in all, you get good filters in an impressively high-quality set at an unbeatable price. I give them a full 5 stars.
Always convincing

The K&F Concept ND Filter Set comes in a stylish silver box. The address of a German importer is printed on the box. Inside are three sealed microfiber cleaning cloths and a pouch containing the three ND filters. The small pouch is very well made. The pouch closes with a Velcro fastener and has space for three filters. The filters are also very well made. They screw onto a lens easily and without problems. The filters also have an internal thread and can be stacked. Now for the ND filters. Included are one ND8, one ND64, and one ND1000 filter. These gray filters are ideal for long-exposure shots. For example, it's possible to create images with "blurred" water in a mountain stream. For example, if you take a photo with a tripod and a low ISO during the day, you can use a long exposure of a few seconds to achieve this effect. To reduce the amount of light, a neutral density filter is screwed onto the lens! Conclusion: The set is really good for the price. I can't really find anything negative about it. Therefore, I'm giving it 5 stars!
