This tripod has been an unexpected joy to use. Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to carry around, a must for someone who enjoys spontaneous photography sessions while exploring new places. Adjusting the height is a smooth experience, catering to various angles and shots I want to capture. The swivel pan head's ability to rotate 360° has opened up opportunities for creative panoramic shots. The transition from smartphone to camera mount is seamless, accommodating my varied devices without fuss. When not in use, its compact size fits comfortably in my daypack. I love that it’s so practical and universal. I am using this for my phone; so I cannot comment on how an actual camera would hold up. For my phone it’s perfect. It folds together nicely and has a carrying bag. Very easy to assemble once you want to use it. It stretches to a good height to take a picture at a good tall angle. As well as it has a handle for panoramic takes. It has a little built in level which is a nice touch. In my experience I have had smaller/shorter ones where I would have to prop onto something if I want a picture/video at a higher angle. Or if they are taller, they are bulkier. Either harder and heavier to transport; or too much work for an assemble for a few pictures.
This one is great, light, but firm and like I mentioned easy to pull apart to put into use. Very self explanatory to open up fully to its potential.
It also comes with the little wireless button to take pictures and video. I have had these in the past. They are my favorite type of wireless remote. Small and easy to pair to your bluetooth right away. To take a video you keep the button pressed and release to finalize it; for a picture it’s one click.
The light that the picture shows, does not come with this tripod. I attached it from a different set. Still a plus, shows how universal it is. How it can take different attachments. I am extremely happy with this tripod.

This is a nice light tripod suitable for traveling and carrying on a long walk. It does not fit my phone (Pixel 3aXL) with its case on, as the phone is quite large, but I don’t see that as an issue since I intended to use this with my real camera. My phone, with its case, is quite large, but I don’t need a tripod to shoot still photos with my phone. I have a video camera and a large and heavy (1.8 pound/800 gram) DSLR camera, and both work just fine on this tripod. The tripod has no trouble supporting and working with either of the two cameras. I usually work with a much larger, heavier tripod, but if I am going to have to carry it any distance, I certainly will take this tripod. It has sufficient flexibility and control to position the DSLR in any position and is a good value. My DSLR camera is heavy, but the tripod has no trouble supporting and working with it. I can certainly recommend this tripod for most phones (it would fit mine if I removed the case) and for DSLR cameras.

This is a nice inexpensive yet high quality tripod. After testing it I found it to be quite sturdy and very light weight too. It weighs in at 21.5 ounces/607 grams. I mostly picked it up to use with my older iPhone 11 Pro Max. I found it to work very well at gripping the larger cell phone in a secure manner. Of course, it also holds my ancient digital camera as well. The tripod also has a little level and comes with a carrying bag, not pictured.

The included shutter remote was a breeze to pair up with my cell phone. The instructions say it's very easy to do, and it sure was! I had the little remote paired up in less than 10 seconds via Bluetooth. And yes, the remote control is tiny! Measuring at 2.5 inches by 1.5 inches/6.35 cm x 3.81 cm. You really but really have to be careful not to lose it. I will have to find a makeshift way to store it on the tripod itself when not in use.

When using a normal camera the top handle is on the right, but when using the tripod to hold a cell phone the handle switches to the left due to the phone facing the opposite way. Me being right-handed, that's the only negative thing I noticed, but other than that this is a nice tripod.

A compact, lightweight tripod will inevitably have some trade offs, regardless of how well it is made, and that applies to this product as well. With lightweight tripods, the lack of weight means potentially less stability when shooting in the field. That can be overcome if needed by adding either an aftermarket center-mounted counterweight, or investing in a sand/rock bag to suspend beneath the tripod in a sort of hammock. But for the most part, lightweight compact tripods like this have their place and do quite well for most assignments.
Overall, I have been very impressed with this K&F CONCEPT B174A1 Travel Tripod, and can recommend it to anyone needing a quality- built portable tripod that can perform double-duty for use of smartphones or conventional camera use.

This small tripod packs a punch with some pretty nice feature. The mobile phone holder paired with the bluetooth shutter switch is nice. Also easily supports a DSLR or full body camera.
