I lost my small travel selfie stick on my last trip. I liked that one a lot and it also had a remote. It was very light and sometimes not super sturdy. I decided to get this one which is slightly bigger and maybe a few ounces heavier. I thought it might be too bulky for my purse etc..but it’s great. I feel like it’s sturdier than my old one.

I like how the phone clamps in. At first I didn’t though. I’m used to the spring action kinds, but sometimes my phone with its case would pop out of the spring action clamp because the case usually makes it a tad too big for the clamp to fit really tight.

This clamp is more like a vice where you tighten it manually. I thought it would be a pain but it’s really not. Once you have it opened to the right width, I can even slide my phone (with case) into it top down if I’m feeling lazy :). Otherwise a quick twist of the knob lets you slide it in and tighten.

Last thing I did use it today longer extended and it blew over in the wind. It’s obvious it’s going to happen if it’s top heavy but for every day use it’s awesome!

I originally got the item as a prop, but I do take a lot of photos so it was bound to work out. Upon receiving it I only had to screw one piece in, super simple. The attachment piece where you hold your phone also screws in and out to adjust to perfectly fit your phone. The reach is insane, it's longer than I expected and has a great amount of stability! The button connects to bluetooth on my android phone and can easily be removed from the handle and held in hand to snap the photo, it was set up instantly with no app or installation.

The tripod feature is stable enough for a phone and not easy to knock over, works just as intended.

We went to Canadian rockies this summer and we were looking for a light weight tripod & a selfie stick to capture our family photos. After researching a few options, we finally bought this. It is light weight, fits in backpack and folds to a really small size. I charged it and paired easily with my Google pixel phone and the remote shutter button worked flawlessly. The remote shutter part can be easily detached and can be used as a small handheld button - which is very useful when using in tripod mode. It's easy to fold, set up as tripod and the grip is firm. Supports good rotations for any angle you want to set. I would recommend this to others, I found it reliable.

Bought this to take family photos and videos on Alaskan cruise. This was great for taking Timelapse videos and family selfies.

I purchased these for vac trip last yr. I have only used x 2 thus far. Easy to operate and like the timer so I can get in pics w/family and friends. I haven't used to take a selfie with stick but sure would work fine for that task. I'm not obsessed w/taking selfies. Only take on rare occasion. Easily portable and adjusting to angle/height desired for group or scenic photos. Would recommend.

I don't see how you could get a better tripod/selfie stick than this one. The tripod is very solid and has silicon feet. Also a quarter-inch camera mount. If you needed to put heavy equipment on it, like a DSLR for low light or timer shots in the field, this would work fine.

A phone bracket attaches to the quarter-inch mount and is on a gimbal so you can shoot horizontal or vertical (or anything in between). It's pretty solid as a tripod when you extend the stem upward. Obviously, it becomes less stable the higher you go, but I use it at about 4 feet all the time.

The stem extends five feet for selfie mode. It's pretty stiff at that length, and the phone clamp is a screw-down for safety, but I wouldn't hold it over the side of the boat. The remote control makes it easy for selfies and especially self-videos.

CONS: 1. My extensions were pretty stiff and I had to spray the stem with WD-40, but after that it worked fine. The bushings need to be solid so you don't want it too loose.

2. The bluetooth remote switch is well-hidden, not mentioned in the online blurb for the unit, and a little fussy to use. It's a tiny slider on one side that must be "up" (toward the keychain loop) to enable bluetooth. Then it pairs (after a couple of tries) with my Samsung android phone. It can only do on/off, but that's all I need to make selfie music videos. You can slide the bluetooth switch down when done to save battery.

Overall, an incredible flock of features for this price.

I have had 2 selfie sticks in the past and they all stopped working and I realized why. The thin wire that plugs into your phone if susceptible to breaking while collapsing the telescoping arms. I also notice that when I upgraded my wife's phone to the S22, it did not have an audio jack. This solved all of those problems. I also like the fact that it can be free standing when the handle opens up to a tripod. I also like how I can attach my regular camera though was only able to extend a maximum of 5 sections due to the stability of the heavier camera.
