This was a Christmas present for my grandson. He was ecstatic when he saw it Christmas Day. It's the perfect size for him, and once the spring comes he will be right out there using it. It seemed like the quality of it is good, too, because kids can be kind of rough on things. It should hold up well. Delivery was in a timely manner.

This was a birthday gift for my grandson. I got the idea after reading an article about a seven year old boy finding a rock with a metal detector that was possibly a piece from a meteor. He was so excited and couldn’t wait for everyone to leave so that he could try it out. We were impressed with how light it was. His dad liked that it came with its own bag for storage. I passed on the tip that someone else had posted about secretly hiding coins in advance for him to find. I’m very happy with my purchase.

We have had this for 9 months now and it is the best boy toy purchase I have made. My son has spent countless hours out in the dirt seeking out treasures. Way more fun than screen time
