It was perfect. We set up a treasure hunt and it worked great! Now my seven year old grandson wants to take it everywhere!

Second purchase of this metal detector ( or "lie" detector as my 6 yr old Grandson calls it).He loves it! Spend most of the day hunting and finding treasures.An absolute must have gift for youngsters.Works well, right height, and fun.Get them outside for an adventure and fresh air.

I bought this for my son for his birthday (he turned 5) and he is all about adventure, exploring, and treasure. I knew this would be a perfect fit! Once we opened it, we were able to easily figure out how to use it and adjusted it to his size. We were also very surprised it was also waterproof! This product definitely gets a 5 star rating from us as parents because this product is kid friendly, easy to use, lightweight, very accurate, and all around good fun for our family!

I did a lot of research on metal detectors and ended up buying this one for my 6 year old grandson. He couldn’t wait to try it! It’s lightweight enough for my young, small for his age grandson, and he loved the carry bag and digging tools it comes with. Super fun activity to do together!

Bought this for my 7 year grandson. He put it together easily and was outside within 10 minutes to loo ofe treasures.

Within 5 minutes we were digging up rusty scrap metal in the back yard. Super fun for little explorers! Just be careful, no one wants a tetanus shot.

This is a Christmas present for my son who is 5. It seems to work pretty well, but I don’t foresee it having a long life. It feels kinda flimsy, but I wasn’t expecting professional quality. I believe it is worth the price.
