this was a gift for my brother who (bless his heart) is hard to please. I did LOTS of research trying to find an affordable detector I thought he'd like. I viewed various websites, visited local stores, and youtube. A buyers' guide website ranked this unit highly, so I purchased it. Arrived very quickly and was as described. More importantly to me is that my brother really seems to like it. After quick assembly, he was outside detecting coins, nails, and poptabs. Time will tell, but so far I think I made a wise purchase

After reading the reviews, this seemed a good choice to buy as our first metal detector. Used many times with good results. Grand-kids are able to use it once they're big enough though it is adjustable for length. We located keys, pipes, coins, old speaker, but no precious metals yet.

Received as a Christmas gift! Easy to set up and use. We took it out and used it the same day of receiving it. I love that you can program the unit to not pick up certain items! That makes treasure hunting better and more efficient. The bag that is provided is durable and made of high quality material. It came with headphones that work very well and a metal heavy duty shovel that screws together. There’s a pocket for storage on the bag and the shovel comes with its own bag. Overall I’m satisfied with it. I would purchase again

Very easy to use. Used it to find the 3 traps on septic tank 18" deep.
