I love this little light! Easy to configure, no complications, it's fun, has some great color options. It comes with a hot shoe attachment, has 2 separate threaded mounting options, It has a magnet on the back. It arrived with a silicone cover to diffuse the light. There are modes, modes, modes, color options, shades, fades and more. One word of caution though, the strobe light effects can affect those with epilepsy. I'm not saying to do away with those as they certainly have their purposes in photography but it should be a warning. This is a great light, buy it, seriously, go pick one up now, what are you waiting for?

I love this light! As a product photographer, it has helped me get out of many shadow binds and has provided excellent flexibility when it comes to finding the right lighting. I love that it easily transfers from cool tone to warm tone with a few quick twists of a knob, and it’s fully dimmable whether you’re using a color tone or day tone. Plus, is has a full color range that’s easy to go through and gives you many options to really help a specific color pop. It does also have a tripod mount. However, it can only be used in one way and since the dispersion is quite dim outside of 2 feet, I really wish I was able to find something that would allow me to tilt it. On a brighter note, the batter has a long lift once charged(about 6 hours). Just be aware that it includes a charge cord, but does not include the USB block. All in all, it’s worth every penny in my opinion and I highly recommend.

When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. I have reviewed a rather large number of compact LED-RGB camera lights over the past two years. And typically the markings, buttons and ‘mode’ switching had to be learned because all the controls were molded black-on-black plastic. I usually use white paint to ‘tip off’ the rasied or ‘infill’ the recessed text/labeling just so I could read it. The Photoolex light doesn’t require any fixes to its controls or labeling. Everything is large, easy to read markings. And the control knobs are made of large round knurled metal. Even the cold shoe adapter components are metal. It was as though this light had been originally designed to meet military specifications. And I saw that as one of its best features; easy to identify controls and easy to operate.

After opening the box, I immediately charged the light head. There’s a USB-C port for that. It came at about 75% charged, so it reached 100% rather quickly. And without referring to the user’s manual, a small multifold with clear and understandable text and illustrations, I was going into each of the three light functions; CCT (light temp’ and brightness control), HIS (spectrum of RGB colors) and SPECIAL EFFECTS lighting. It took very little time to learn this light.

This little light is exactly what I'm looking for to supplement my current set up. I take toy photography and sometimes I need to take some shots really quickly for my digital renderings. I hate having to set up a light box and backdrop everytime especially for photo studies of the subject matter. I tend to take these quick shots with my phone but the desk lamp doesn't quite work well especially when I need to change lighting angles. This little Tofu light is perfect. I can position it anywhere to get the exact light angle I need. This saves me a ton of time especially when I'm working on a tight deadline.

The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. It's also very light and I can take photo with one hand while holding the light with another.

I've never had a light be as much fun to use as this one is. It even looks like it's fun! The knobs are large, as is the text. Further, the effects are dynamite! I've ordered three lights like this one recently, and I like this one the best of the three. Very highly recommended!

This light is perfect for videos, pictures and any other time you need a light. I personally take it camping too just to light up the campsite. It’s great that it has a rechargeable batter,

This amazing little light blew me away at how good it is. It has tons of features - you can adjust the colors, brightness, saturation, hue, color temperature, etc. The color temps are adjustable from 2500K-9900K with a color index of 96+. The hue is adjustable from 0 degrees to 360 degrees. Whoever engineered this light really took the time to think of all the functions and options possible, it’s just amazing. The light also has several special effects modes, such as cycle modes, rave modes, police lights, and TV mode. The light has a built in shoe-mount as well as a magnet on the back of the light so you can attach it to a metal object remote from your camera. I’m using this on my Canon DSLR and this will be a great additional light to my main photography light. It charges its built-in battery via USB-C quick charging so it’s really easy and convenient to charge. As far as use, I am truly surprised at just how bright you can get this light - it will easily support a wide variety of shooting. This light reminds me of something that a high-end brand would design - it is just so well thought out. I’m super happy to have purchased this little light and plan on using it on an ongoing basis. I wholeheartedly recommend this light for any photographer.
