This macro Lens attached to my iPhone pro max well. The lens can be adjusted to any lens needed. The lens works as described and the lighted ring helps with darker subjects.

I am a kid and like to take things apart. I took pix of the insides of some old electronics and it was easy and fun. Today, I took a magnified picture of a dead fly and this lens worked great! I am very pleased with this purchase for my phone.

First off, I'd like to point out how useful this is just for the clamp itself. With the cold shoe on top and quarter inch on bottom it allows you to attach it to a tripod and use an additional light or microphone just because of the clamp. These things can also be achieved using a cage but those are generally a lot more bulky and take more setup. Another useful feature is the fact that you can use this with most other mobile camera lenses. This is great because most other mobile lenses use a simple clip style attachment method and this is very superior. The clamp itself is very sturdy and has never once slipped or fallen off my phone. The stair-step style rubber grips make it so you can adjust the height of the clamp to the back of your phone. This is necessary so you can customize it based off of the size of your phones camera bump. The lens positioner is a bit stiff but I'd much rather have that than to have it be loose and move when you don't want it to.Using the microscope lens itself is aided greatly by the ring light as you almost always need it. Due to how close you are when taking these pictures the focal plane is very short and this makes taking pictures of non-flat things difficult because you can't get it all in focus. There's also some distortion and miscoloration around the edges. On top of that there's also vignetting due to the lens not being as big as most phones camera sensors. With all these things combined it can be somewhat frustrating if you're used to a simple point and click style picture. However, if you know what to expect and know how to work with it you can get some very amazing shots like the ones I have attached.Due to the versatility of the mount as well as the quality of the microscope lens I highly recommend this to anyone looking to photograph a microscopic world.

So far my kids have used this to take pictures of things magnified. (I bought this for them to use.) But I've also gotten some really cool pictures of nail polish magnified to show all the little bits and pieces in glitter polish. It's a fun little gadget to experiment with.

I am a watchmaker and needed an easy way to take closeup pictures to send to customers. I had been using my microscope and Nikon but that was too time consuming. I have tried 4 other adapters for my Galaxy phone and none of them were any good. This adapter is a gold mine- by FAR the BEST I have ever used

My first photo is using this lens and the second is the closest photo my phone can take without it. Both pictures are of the same leaf from my baby pepper plants. This works great with my Samsung S20, but my S22 Ultra wants to keep switching lenses making it nearly impossible to line this up and use it.One surprising plus, the battery on the built in light around the lens is really good. I charged it once and after using it a few times, I put it away for a while. When I took it back out it still had a charge and lit up.

Works exactly as you'd expect. Working with modern phones can be tricky with their multiple lenses. connecting right to it ends up with a black picture with a circle in the middle. You can pinch to zoom in, however if you end up zooming too much, it switches to one of the other lenses and the screen blacks out. Even not zooming, but something about it focusing may cause it to move to another lens.
