I purchased this filter in preparation for the 2024 Solar Eclipse so that I could photograph the event. This filter absolutely did the job and I was able to get several great images as a result. Great quality and great price. Highly recommend!

I was not sure whether to get this 16.6 stop ND filter or go for the 20 stop version. Would have been helpful to see comparison photos on the KF site. That said, the filter works well and keeps the natural color of the sun better than my expensive telescope filter, which results in an orange sun. Will be going for eclipse images and see how they turn out.
