43mm Variable ND Filter ND2-ND32 (1-5 Stops) Lens Filter Waterproof Scratch Resistant with 18 Layers of Nano-coating Nano-Klear Series
SKU: KF01.2548V1
At this price-point the ND filter is perfectly fine. Yes, it does add a slight colored cast on the photo but I was already expecting some sort of cast. It can easily be removed in post processing which I do anyway even without an ND filter. If you don't need an ND filter with more than 5 stops, this one will do.

I have needed an ND filter for one of my better lenses for quite a while. I have had less-than-good experiences with variable ND filters, but I have had favorable experiences with K&F Concept products in general. I decided to take a chance on this one. I am pleased with this one – it eliminates the main issue I had with other similar variable ND filters.
This variable filter has a range from 1 to 5 stops, and it is a continuous (smooth) gradient so it can be set exactly as needed for any given scenario. The outer plate turns smoothly but is a bit stiff which in this case is a good thing as it cannot be accidentally adjusted (bumped) like some of the others I have tried. What is interesting about this one in particular is that the plate does not turn a full 360 degrees – it is physically stopped in both directions.
Every other filter like this I have tried has had the problem with the big “X” pattern when close to the maximum darkness setting. I can’t afford really nice, professional grade filters, so this might be a function of using cheaper and lower quality filters. However, I was quite surprised that this particular filter doesn’t have the problem from what I have seen so far, and that’s a huge positive right there. This is claimed in the product description, and it has proven to be true.
The icing on the cake for me is that when I have the filter on my lens, I can still put on my lens cap.
I am very pleased with this filter, especially at the asking price. It outperforms more expensive variable ND filters I have used in the past, and it doesn’t suffer from the big X pattern at even the darkest setting. I can’t recommend this filter highly enough if you need a variable ND filter.

Very handy variable density filter for landscape photography and hard light. Makes difficult shooting much easier and allows longer exposure time and depth of field. Very useful. Recommended.

feels very high quality, comparable to others that i have that cost more. Good coating on the lens. The adjustment feels fluid-coupled, same sort of drag feeling you'd get on a fluid head tripod. It has firm stops at either end of the range, legible markings. Gave me a slight green tint, but that can be compensated for, as long as you have no further need to adjust your ND level after you've adjusted for white balance and all that. I actually kind of like the look it gives. You'll need to keep in mind that the filter steps up in some cases. I got the 67mm one for a tamron 17-28, and i can't fit both this filter and the lens hood. Wasn't a huge problem for what i use my camera for.

K&F does a pretty good job at making these. I do regret not getting a magnetic one, but using this would not work well. I do like that the ND locks out, so you know when you're at 2 or 32.

Picked this up to mount on my iPhone filter adapter. While this is part of the K&F entry-level line of filters, it surpasses the quality of some more expensive filters. K&F is my first choice when looking at filters these days. They have products at just about every price point and each provides a high level of value in its performance class. This filter is no exception and is an excellent entry-level ND filter for the price.

I own several of K&F's filters and none have ever disappointed me. This one is no exception. The filter is knurled both front and back of the front element ring. this makes installation and operation easy. The front filter turns smoothly yet has enough resistance to make it hold it's position reliably.

I wanted to get better blurry backgrounds on my little consumer VX981 camcorder and this works wonders.
Great quality build, easy to twist and adjust

I wish all VNDs were at least at this level of quality.
Little to no color cast, hard stops, clearly marked and almost low profile. This hits all the marks I need and is going to be permanently on my 50mm f/0.95 lens.

I just bought this ND filter and it has really changed the way I take photos. As a photography enthusiast, I was looking for something that would perform well without blowing my budget, and this filter fits the bill perfectly.
The biggest advantage for me is its flexibility. No need to constantly change ND filters, which is a real time-saver when you are in the field. The fact that it can be adjusted from ND2 to ND32 is super handy for controlling light and shutter speed, especially for capturing motion effects in landscapes like waterfalls or rivers.
The glass quality is impressive, there is no loss of sharpness, and the nano coating helps to reduce unwanted reflections. The thread is sturdy, and the plastic housing protects the filter well. Small downside, it adds a bit of thickness to the lens, so it's not possible to use a lens hood with it.
This filter is easy to use, with clear markings for each ND level and self-locking technology that avoids the black cross phenomenon. It also comes with three individual cleaning cloths, which is a plus.
In summary, for its price, this filter is a great addition to my camera equipment. Great for those who want to experiment with long exposures and different light conditions without breaking the bank. I highly recommend it!
