SKU: GKF09.077V2C
Very light for its size, slightly more fiddly to set up as the legs fold back on themselves to keep the length to a minimum. Friction head works well, if not quite as smooth as a fluid head. Due to lockdown I have not had a great deal of use out of it yet but it fits great in my bag and does the job well.

This tripod is very compact and light weight for carrying. But still extends to a good height and appears stable. It's definitely not as 0sturdy as the bigger / heavier models but appears strong enough for my requirements.

This is a competitive market, and there are some very expensive carbon lightweights out there, but I think value for the money is key here. It’s a great design, and at 1kg, a no-brainer for travel. It’s stable, and with the hook under for hanging a bag or weight , it really locks it down. The ball head has a tendency to unscrew if you do panoramic pan anti-clockwise which is annoying, and folding it back down can be tricky to get it back in the bag, but overall it’s a great design.

Compact and light, but at a cost of stability somewhat in windy conditions with longer exposures.

Now I'm not the most experienced photographer but have tested a few tripods and have to say this one from K&F Concept does quite well. It carries my 80d with the Sigma 150-600mm and teleconverter quite decently. Of course, especially with such a construct, it is important that the tripod does not collapse from misery. It is quite stable, although of course the image wobbles a lot when touched lightly. (But I think that is normal) The workmanship is quite solid. The suitability for transport on the road can certainly only be described as good to a limited extent, because if a tripod becomes more stable, it will probably also have to become heavier. Where else would the stability come from? The legs can be comfortably extended and retracted. Turning the camera on the tripod goes well. Not too smooth and not too heavy. For macro photography, you can convert the tripod as shown in the pictures. It can also be used as a monopod. For this, the foam-covered leg has to be unscrewed. I would buy it again if I had to, but since I only have one camera, a tripod is enough for now. I assume that the quality is good enough that it will also be enough for the next cameras.

I am really happy with this K&F tripod. I use their lenses and they make really great products. This tripod uses metal joints and locking points. It collapses into a small light package and is very portable. I like the look with the dark carbon fiber with the bright orange accents. I think this is a very good value and compares to many high end tripods in terms of features and quality materials. I am happy with my purchase and this is a huge upgrade over my previous tripod.

The tripod arrived quickly, was packaged well and looked as it did on the product page.

The mechanism that prevents the tripod from giving out are orange aluminum blocks that push in and out. They wedge in to prevent the legs from opening out further. So you place your camera on it after securing it as best you can. Then push down and make sure its firm and not going to slip and give out. When these blocks are in place they don't move. and they are installed in such a way that gravity will not undo them.I will be testing this tripod at Disneyland in the next week. I will update. Otherwise. Not bad. Kinda excited to use it. Looks like that of the others from china but materials seem ok. They did well, but not quite well. So 4.xx stars.
