I was a bit skeptical of this after reading the reviews but was in a pinch and needed one quickly. Turned out I experienced none of the complaints listed in the reviews. It worked well for what it was intended and helped me get some good shots. No, it is not a pro quality monopod but for $20 I didn't expect that. However it was well worth it and did the job for me.

Great, holds the camera steady and doubles as a walking stick.

Decide how you want to use it before ordering. I had several things that I thought would be easier with this tool. So far so good.

I love how quickly I am able to stabilize my camera by using the side tabs. Great value. So happy that I bought this item.

It's exactly what it says - it's a stand. It stands. Some sort of stable feet thing would be nice, but it's 5.5 feet long, stability is something to think about on something this long no matter what. Not a knock on this stand, it's a long thin stand. Anything this long would have the same challenge.

Lightweight, adjustable, easy to use. you can sling it over your shoulder in the carrying case if you don't have a larger camera bag. I use this much more than my tripod, it's lighter and quicker to set up and take down. good for when you have to shoot and move, I used it at a 5K, it made the day easy.

I built a truck camper and I needed a way to hold up my table. I could have used and angle piece from the front wall, but I went for using a 1/4" T-nut and this monopod. It lets me keep the table level even if my truck is sitting on an incline. Quick adjustment. I ended up moving the t nut to a support under the table so it doesn't appear in the top of the table. Looks and works great!
I'm using this as a support in my truck camper
