Let’s start with the good:
Easy to use controls, once you get used to them
Aluminum knobs that feel nice and are very tactile
Good CRI and the leds are diffused pretty well.
Battery life is decent too, considering the size.
The display, although tiny, is bright and easy to read

Not as good:
All plastic housing, but it is good quality plastic
The effects modes are limited in adjustability and all the modes involving “flickering” just blink at a fixed repeating interval. Things like candle mode end up looking like a turn signal.
Magnets on the back are just a bit too weak, the light slowly slides down the refrigerator due to a combination of weak magnets and a slick plastic back. A rubberized coating and/or stronger magnets would have fixed this.

Overall this is a good light if you need a tiny, compact adjustable temp/RGB light. Just keep expectations realistic, it’s not a 1000w video light. I am happy with it for my use cases.

After using this for a few projects, I can confidently say that this video light is awesome!

Pro: User-friendly design. The rotary controls on the side of the light make adjusting the color temperature and brightness a breeze, whether you're operating it from the front or the back. The intuitive controls allow for seamless adjustments on the fly, ensuring that you can achieve the desired lighting effects quickly and efficiently.

Pro: The color spectrum offered by this video light is impressive! Wide range of colors to choose from with a simple flick of the wheel, you can easily create various moods and atmospheres in your photographs (or videos). The ability to fine-tune the color temperature and saturation opens up a world of creative possibilities, allowing you to experiment with different looks and styles.

Con: While the K&F Concept RGB light performs exceptionally well for indoor small room and close subject photography, it's worth noting that the brightness at the highest setting could be a bit more powerful. This limitation makes it more suitable for product photos and smaller scenes (closeups) rather than larger-scale productions. However, for my needs as a hobbyist photographer, and making YouTube videos, the brightness levels are adequate.

One feature that I particularly appreciate is the light's ability to work with its own battery. This makes it an ideal choice for on-the-go photography, as you don't have to worry about finding a power outlet or dealing with cords. The portability and convenience of this video light have made it a go-to tool in my photography kit.

The light also comes with some built-in flashing effects, which, while not something I personally use often, may be useful for certain creative projects. However, I think the real strength of this light lies in its color selection and saturation capabilities, which give some pretty stunning stunning looks.

In terms of build quality, the light feels solid and quality, and the switchgear is positive. It's compact and easy to pack and transport. The light honestly feels like it should cost more than $30 - so I'd say it offers excellent value for money, especially considering its impressive features and performance.

As long as you don't need to illuminate a room, this light should serve you well - it's a good choice. I included some quick photos of it in the kitchen for scale - including one showing the internal LED position (brightness way down for the photo). Coke can for scale - and while I do have a USB charger battery in the photo (I just unboxed it and was still charging it) - you do *NOT* need to keep it plugged in to use it - it works stand-alone.

PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:
This portable light is very similar to the K&F Bi-Color light, but this one has RGB Ability.
-This is a pretty nice portable light. You can go from 2500k up to 9900K in the CCT mode.
-There are 2 knobs on this and one button. The bottom knob is your selector for CCT, HSI, and EFF (Effects mode).
-The Top Knob is your intensity brightness, changing HUE, Saturation, and brightness when in effects or colored modes.
-You get a standard ¼ thread on BOTH the top and bottom.
-The One button that you get, has a different function depending on what mode you are on, but this is what you have to use so you change effects, change your various settings in HSI mode, and your percentage to Color Temp in CCT.
-It also has a magnetic backside so you can stick it onto metal surfaces. But I like the design so much that I hardly ever want to use that feature for fear of it wearing down that logo & design over time. I got the white version and it really stands out. It’s just a nice-looking product.
I’ve been using this light together with the Bi-color K&F Light. I’ve been able to get some nice results when it comes to certain photos, and some interesting videos, using the effects features. These kinds of lights can’t replace a true portable professional setup, BUT they do give you something to work with, and they can actually get quite bright for such a small device. It’s made really well and I can recommend it.

I now have 6 lights with nearly identical function and size to this light, so I will refer to my experiences with those lights in comparison. This is a small battery power LED (bi-color and full RGB) with probably the coolest design of any lights I have, and very easy modes of operation. This version of the light is stealth black on black on the rear, so if someone tries to use it the first time, it's tough to read what each knob does, but looks cool and doesn't have the bright white paint if it happens to be in the shot. I do wish the scrolling of the knobs made for faster action (takes a while to scroll up to 100% or down to 1% for instance) and I feel like the brightness is not quite as strong as some of my other similar lights, but the color temp measures very accurate, and the battery seems to last really well. I pictured the LEDs at 4000K with 1% brightness in order to show the amount of LEDs and arrangement. I have owned MANY K&F products over the years from tons of ND and VND filters, tripod, etc and these lights fit the same high end build quality as the other K&F products. There are two magents in the back that you can slightly see through the transparent backing. They hold REALLY well on nice flat metal surfaces, but even on a round pole, the can hold if positioned properly. It comes with 1/4 20 screw holes on the top and bottom, and a 1/4 20 cold shoe mount is included. Worth noting that there is not a cold shoe slot built into the light itself (for stacking lights) so you would need a 1/4 20 to 1/4 20 screw to connect two together. Not a deal breaker but I often connect my lights during storage to help keep them all together. Overall performance is great, and the built quality and style (if that matters) can't be beat. These are nice-looking lights!

I am using the K & F Concept RGB Video Light for photography and recording video. What I especially like are the easy-to-use controls that include a dial for turning the camera on selecting one of three modes (aka “gear”); a small LCD that shows the camera “gear”; and a second dial to adjust the selected option for the chosen gear. Some other small lights I’ve worked with have had controls that could be a bit finicky or tricky to work with, but these controls are straightforward and work great.

This is a compact light and is oriented towards illuminating subjects that are close to the camera. In the CCT “gear”, the brightness and color temperature of the LCDs can be adjusted, and the brightness works well for illuminating subjects. The HIS “gear” is used to select a range of light colors, with the brightness also adjustable. The EFF gear allows one of 21 special effects to be selected, with different adjustments possible for the effects.

The camera also includes a pair of magnets that can be used to mount the camera, although no magnetic base is included; a 1/4-inch threaded mount on the top and on the bottom of the case; a hot shoe mount with ¼-inch screw; a USB-C charging port; and USB-A to USB-C charging cable.
This is a nice, well-made, small light at a great price. It is an easy-to-use light for video or photography at close distances, while also providing specialized lighting effects for video if needed.

This is an amazingly easy interface with many sought after and necessary functions. The size is approx 3 in. squared. Beatles right into flash slot, with its accessory, or on a tripod. I highly suggest reading the specs from K & F Concept beyond the reviews. This is a magical and powerful, compact and easy to use tool!

I read some complaints about the magnetic functionality of these lights, and I'd have to disagree because I think they tend to hold on pretty well. And compared to other video lights, I think they have one of the better magnets in them.

One of the best selling points for me is the insane simplicity of these lights. While other video lights require a 2-3 second press before they turn on, these lights will turn on instantly with the bottom dial. That same dial also contains the inputs for effects and color, and the top dial controls intensity. One button on the back changes the options shown on the screen. It's simple, and the light's power-on ability is one of the best that I've used.

From an accuracy perspective, they seem pretty accurate to the temperature selected and I have no problems with how they look. I do think the diffusion is one of its weakest offering, but honestly, these are meant to be accent or small fill lights, so I have no complaints about that either.

Bright useful lighting system for any photo shoot. The small pocketable size understates how versatile the light is and the amount of features that it adds for creative endeavors. It's bright, small, and can be mounted using common threaded screw mounts so you can add it to existing rigs or use it handheld with a lanyard that is included. The adjustable color temperature and HSI gives you any possible hue of color needed to accentuate your subject. I enjoy the design of it too, the large knobs are light and tactile enough, and the cool design looks intriguing which adds to the aesthetic of my kit. The lighting effects also add value as these can be used for visuals in still and video creations.

This is a great tripod mountable light for use with video / photo creation. Features white light with adjustable brightness, red light, and strobe. Very nice.
