K&F Concept RGB Video Light, 360° Full Color Portable Photography Light, LED Camera Light w 21 Light Effects, 2500K-9900K CRI 96+, 2000mAh Rechargeable Photography Lighting for Vlogging, Selfie (Blue)
SKU: KF34.036V2
K&F always strikes a great position between price and quality of their products and this light is a perfect example. The light is very reasonably priced, offers great versatility, is easy to use, and powerful enough to add just enough light to makes the shots.
The light comes well packaged with a USB-C cord, a wrist strap, and little cold shoe attachment. The single USB-C jack on the back is your charging point and you're ready to go. You can attach the included cold shoe to the mounting points on the top or bottom of the light or using other hardware not included you could chain multiple lights together. The wrist strap seemed odd at first but as I started taking the light with me more and more, the wrist strap was great for me to use to retain it or attach it to places that aren't magnetic.
The controls are simple and straightforward - one knob turns the light on and selects the mode for your light: CCT, HSI, or EFF.
Constant Color Temperature (CCT) allows you to turn the top knob to change temperature or with a press of the orange button, light intensity.
Hue, Saturation, Intensity (HSI) mode allows you to turn the top knob and change your hue, press the button, and the top knob controls saturation, and press again, you can change the intensity of he light.
Finally there's an effect mode (EFF) that can simulate some fun effects for video work. I've used it a couple times and its OK but not earth shaking and similar to other lights.
Battery life has been very good and I can't complain. I'm often using this light at a lower power to just add in some fill light on faces.
Overall this is really an amazing little light for the price that is very flexible for use cases. It is mostly plastic and feels less than idea but I'm sure that's a result of saving weight.
This light is a big yes from me. I have 3 of them now!

If you are like me, I constantly struggle between packing the bare minimum amount of gear I need and ensuring that I have what I might need when I get to the site. Often a small light such as this is exactly what you might need to help illuminate your subject should your destination prove to be a "low light" challenge. This K&F fixture is small enough to almost not notice you have it, yet provides just enough lumens (close up) to help your subject pop. Color temp and brightness are adjustable and it has a bevy of effects should you need them. For me the effects are superfluous but as a small key light in a pinch, this has great value. The display provides both color temp and level which is handy for reference. BrightIt also works well as a practical light for illuminating background objects. Its small size lets you hide it behind objects to give your background a bit of color. Two 1/4"-20 threaded inserts (top & bottom) provide adequate attachment options.
The only downside is that the rotary switch is a bit easy to turn on when storing/traveling with the device. It would have been good to have had a recessed push button to avoid accidental turn-on. Such a lightweight and small device I think I will leave it permanently in my travel case.

When I first received this it didn’t seem to work. Fully charged the switch didn’t seem to turn it on. I got a bit frustrated and ended up snaking it a few times with my hand.

Wow. What a find! Good for travel or use in a pinch. I love the different colors this provide, different temperatures, and different “functions” like you want a candle accent in the back ground, or fireworks, or some other function (strobe, partially bad lightbulb feature, and more). Good magnet on the back, easy to work and a metal hotshoe mount. This is NOT a cheesy device. Wow! Wrist lanyard included.

I was able to review the RGB version of this light the same time as the CCT and came away liking them. The body is all plastic and pretty bulbous in size. It's not bad to use, just feels "inflated". The dials are easy to turn and put into position. It would be better if the power/mode dial had a push button lock as it is possible to turn it by accident.
The CCT/HSI/effects are easy to adjust with a very legible if small lcd. Changing the intensity, saturation, and hsi value is easily done on the dial but does require a lot of spinning if you want to go from one end of the spectrum to the other.
Battery life is pretty decent, and it get's nicely bright at full intensity. It's not going to be a main light like a 600+ watt video light or anything, but it is enough to do creative stuff mostly in the high iso open aperture or close up type shooting.
There isn't any type of wireless connectivity, which some other lights like this in the price range does have. I don't think it's really needed though, but could be a nice future upgrade.
Overall it's a pretty great light, mostly for the price. It's great to do some creative fun stuff with.

This little light really shines bright. It’s very powerful and so compact. The magnets on the back make it so versatile you can attach it to anything metal. See in my video I have it attached to a floor lamp.
Using the knobs, you can adjust the lighting from warm to cool for the white light. There’s also a red light that goes all the way into blue light. And There’s a strobe light effect. Everything is adjustable, which makes this little light so versatile.
It came out of the box already charged, but I’m not sure how long it lasts as I’m unable to try it out for long periods. But it is very powerful and does give good light.
If you can’t attach this with the magnets, there are two tripod holes to use.
Overall, this is a great little gadget for the price.

This is really well made and the light it produces, wow, it's super bright. It's a crisp brightness, there's no flickering dullness, rather intense and focused.
It's easy to cycle through the spectrum of colours using the RGB controller knob on the unit. I was pleasently surprised at how accurate the fade between colours was. The instructions are easy to follow and to put to use. I suspect that with a few minutes of twiddling you'll be an expert. The orange button on the rear allows one to alternate between other settings. You can choose to dim the percentage of light output and heat range of the colour scheme. The transition is smooth.
I'd suggest that this light is ideal for 'mood' setting light tones. The ranges of pastel pinks to vibrant reds is aesthetically pleasing.
Having a strong magnet on the underside is useful. There's a camera mount screw also. The unit is compact and highly portable I found. If you require an additional light source, something extremely bright but with the ability to cycle through thousands of colours is impressive and something you will use repeatedly, I have.

This K&F Concept RGB Video Light is small, lightweight and bright - at 5,600K it measures 60 Lux at one metre. It has the industry standard quarter inch BSW tapped holes on the top and bottom of the unit so that you can mount it on a camera cage or tripod and, it comes with a cold shoe adaptor so that you can mount it directly onto the top of your camera if you wish - it only weighs 127g so it is a lot lighter than most flash units - but it is large enough to create light that is not too hard.
Additionally, it has a pair of strong magnets in the back so if you want, you can stick it to anything that is ferromagnetic such as an iron post or the filing cabinet. There are two knobs on the side as well as a button on the back - the orange one. The buttons on the side are for: selecting a mode; and, changing the value of a parameter that you select using the orange buttons. On the back is also a small readout so that you can tell the value of what you are changing - knowing the colour temperature is particularly useful; and, a USB C socket for recharging the battery which you can do whilst you are using it so if you want to increase its life for a longer session, you can run it off a mains charger or a D-Tap block.
The modes are: continuous-spectrum light - the orange button selects between colour temperature and brightness; RGB colours - the orange button selects between hue, saturation and brightness; and, special effects - the orange button selecting which one and brightness again.
The continuous spectrum runs from a colour temperature of 2,500K to 9,900K. The hue goes from 0 degrees to 360 degrees (the same colour) and it lets you carry on around so if you are at an orange - say 15 degrees - and you quickly want to get to a purple - say 345 degrees - you don't have to go all of the way through the rest of the spectrum in order to get there.
The special effects are Flash, TV screen, candle, flame, police (red and blue), ambulance (just blue), fire engine (just red), various strobes, chase - cycling through the RGB spectrum smoothly at different speeds, a number of fireworks, club lights and finally, a romantic purple.
This lighting unit is particularly useful for because of its RGB, its compactness and robustness. Additionally, it is small enough to slip into your pocket and it even comes with a small lanyard.

I have had many instances where I am taking photos or recording video with my camera and the light fades making shooting more challenging. This K&F Concept camera light is very compact and surprisingly bright on the higher settings. It is supplied with a charging cable, wrist strap, cold shoe adaptor and instructions. The user interface is very easy to navigate with two side mounted dials to control brightness and colour/temperature settings. An orange push button on the rear of the light is used to select the required operating mode.
It has a 1/4" fixing point on the top and bottom for attaching the cold shoe mount or for using it with a tripod or lighting stand. There is a small rear display which shows which mode and the level of brightness which has been selected and power remaining/charging status. It does feel well made and the dials are a good size making them easy to operate. There are a selection of lighting pre-sets available to use including candle light, lightning, strobe and more. The light can provide 2-8 hours of use from a full charge depending upon the setting and power level being used.
In summary, I like the modern looking design of this light and its ease of use. It is in my opinion reasonably priced when taking into account the range of settings, brightness and quality. It is sufficiently compact to fit into my my camera bag without taking up too much space and can be very useful for a variety of applications where some additional light or lighting effect is required. Recommended.
