This head is used to take panoramic photos, thanks to this head that hooks onto the tripod, it is possible to photograph landscapes with a wide angle without having a wide-angle lens.
The material of the head is very resistant and has a very nice texture. The pieces have very good grip systems and give very good support, the finishes are magnificent.
Regarding the operation, I have placed it on a tripod, and it screws quite well.
It can be moved easily.

I think it compensates, by far, compared to the carbon fiber version, which only saves a few grams, and is much more expensive. It is strong and stable, and looks smooth. Neither the package nor the head itself appears the K&F

Chose this particular model for the Arca Swiss quick release function. There are a few Gimbal stabilizers on the market, but not all propose the Arca Swiss standard. I've used it in Slimbridge for at the bird sanctuary as a trial one and it balanced the camera well. I was also able to set up and quickly disengage the camera at various viewing points around the sanctuary, including practical use in the bird houses. It's a very solid product and I'm really pleased.

It seems more sophisticated to me than a classic kneecap. The tightening of the various wheels makes the adjustment very firm. In addition, the weight of 10 kilos supported is a guarantee of safety.

Great bit of kit, the Arca Swiss fitting was a bonus too.
Built very well and very sturdy, easy to use and the nobs do t stick or grind the ball joint moves freely with ease.
Well worth the money!

I have used multiple different ball heads in the past and, for the price, this is the most robust and best built ball head I've found. I use it with a 65 mm spotting scope and find it to work very well - might be a bit small for an 80 mm though.

To whom it may interest: They do not state this in the specs, but it is Arca-Swiss Standard, so suitable for other plates with 38mm (1.5") of a width.

Good quality and low profile as I needed. Adjustments are smooth and easy but solid when locked.
