The pictures above are of the streetlight outside my house. Very happy with the quality of the effects they produce.

Sometimes I like to mix it up in my photography. When I saw these and I knew that I had to try them out. Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint. These pointed star filters created beautiful, sparkling effect in my photos. They add a particular feel of whimsy when taking pictures of my kids with holiday lights. I have a Canon Rebel T5 and found that they threaded on to my lens smoothly without a hitch. The included case and cleaning cloths were a real nice bonus!

I am continuously impressed with how much extra K&F includes with their offerings, especially when compared to the prices their competitors are charging. You get this incredibly nice filter holder and a set of 3 filters for the same price that other companies want for just a single filter. Star filters are difficult to work with these days since so many lights are collections of LEDs that throw off odd patterns, but they can still be fun to play with. In my examples I don't have the filters mounted to my lens and am instead holding it in front of the lens. Shot with the M.Zuiko 7-14 on the OM-1 mkII.

I really wish I could take photos that do justice for these filters. They come in a nylon cloth carry case that feels luxurious and alone already feels like you got your money’s worth. Though, if I were to nitpick, the carry case has a bad case of shedding because small fibers from it were found on the filters.

Loving the starburst effect from these filters. Not an unfortunate effect of imperfections on glass, but actual and intentional effect can make for amazing shots!

Fits as expected for the size I ordered, and getting three different effect filters for this price is amazing value.

These K&F Concept 62 mm Star Filters Kit (3pcs) are not just nicely packaged and well-built, but they are also practical for use on cold winter night shoots for that desired star effect. Not that I have had a chance to do that yet.

Due to ugly nighttime weather, misty rain, haze, and high humidity, I have been kept in at night. So I resorted to the fancy overhead light in my den. I think it provided the desired effect.

The attached images are straight out of the camera and were all shot on a Nikon Z 7 II with Z 50mm 1.8 at f16 at about 1/25 sec and an exposure comp of -0.667.
Cool effect

Not something I will use all the time, but since I shoot music videos I like to have an arsenal of speciall effect filters to use when the time is right. These star filters are actually pretty nice, and have the typical criss cross pattern on the glass which causes starbursts when pointing at the right lighting. I like that there are different strengths, as that can be very helpful achieving the desired effect. Glass is clear, except for the effect crossings, and filter threads are smooth. Overall not a bad set of star filters.

Good value to be had here, you won’t use these for everything, but they’re good at only putting stars on hard point lighting, so you’ll have to kind of use your own creativity for when you would want to use these. They’re very clear optically, they really only add the stars and make no other changes, which is what I wanted.

Let me start by saying how much I love star filters. I used them on my film cameras and they were a blast to use on Christmas lights, street lights, any kind of lights. They add a nice punch to any image that has lights or areas of super brightness. Yeah, you can add them in post-processing but I'd rather get it done in camera rather than futzing around on the computer.

These filters are well made, come in their own pouch, and are a blast to use. I added magnetic filter rings to them. These make popping filters on and off a breeze.
Filter Fun! Filter Fun! Filter Fun!
