Without a doubt, K&F Concept exceeded all my expectations with this softbox. It is super functional, easy to assemble and close. Easy to store and super lightweight.

The excellent range of lens filters has made me a convinced K&F Concept fanboy. A few weeks ago I also bought a camera backpack from their extensive range...so far everything has been great.
This softbox fits seamlessly into this chain of experiences. The workmanship is first-class, the materials used are high quality...I am once again impressed.
The assembly and mounting on the light was a little tricky the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it's done in no time.

This 55 cm octagonal softbox arrived in a good quality cardboard box (which is good to store it in). It also comes with a handy black carry bag, with shoulder strap, for portability. I like the quick release and compact format, you can set this up in a matter of minutes and pack it up very quickly. I prefer octaboxes for the softer light they produce (the larger the size the softer the light). They can be used for every type of photography but my preference is portrait. They will get a lovely catchlight in your subject's eyes. It also comes with a detachable grid which is useful to control light, play with shadows, and create more interesting images. The Octabox has the attachment for Bowens lights (which I have) but with an adapter plate you can use them with any lighting system.
It's a great piece of kit to have. It's an entry level price for a good quality product that will take your photography to another level. Recommended.

I'm an amateur photographer that occasionally takes on a small photo shoot - maybe a friends newborn or some car/home shots so I do have a couple of lights and other trappings and one fixed diffuser but this octagonal softbox is a superb addition.
It is simple and quick to set up, it fits my main light perfectly (didn't realise it had a 'bowens' mount) and I think with its diffusers, it really does give a new dimension to my pictures. I also love that it is so easy to collapse, pack away in the provided bag and take with me to other locations than my home studio.
It feels beautifully made and I hope to be using it for many years to come. Highly recommended

I've been using it for some time now in combination with a spotlight also from the concept brand and for the moment I'm really enjoying it. I can get excellent photographic performance, which is unfortunately impossible with a normal LED spotlight; it manages to spread the light in a truly natural and super pleasant way.
In short, I think it's just that classic accessory that every photographer should have.
As always, the quality is excellent. The softbox is well built, solid and super portable since it folds up on itself like an umbrella.
For this type of product, I always recommend combining them with a good light source, so as to have excellent performance.

I needed a light diffuser for my shots, and this diffuser does the job perfectly. It comes in a bag that has the advantage of taking up little space once the device is out. You can easily put it in a pocket of your backpack.
The quality of the product is convincing. The fabric used is robust and should last for several years. The finish is very good, without risk of cutting, and the system is well thought out.

The attachment is of course standard, which allows it to be used on almost all existing models. As it should be, it comes with a set of filters that allow you to play with the light.

Good umbrella where I place a spotlight and get different effects to make the photos special or directly positioning the spotlight and umbrella I manage to focus direct light on the product to be photographed. It is pentagonal in shape, not completely round, this must be taken into account, it opens and closes very easily with just one click, it includes a honeycomb grid, two softboxes and its own bag to store once closed.

The K&F Concept 55cm Parabolic Softbox is a fantastic accessory for my video and photography equipment. With its quick release umbrella design, it is quick and easy to set up. The octagonal shape ensures even light distribution, while the honeycomb grid and soft diffuser provide excellent light control and quality. The softbox is perfect for COB video lights and greatly improves lighting. The portability of the bag is an added plus for mobile use. Overall, an excellent softbox that delivers both functionality and professional results. Highly recommended!
