82mm Magnetic CPL Filter Circular Polarizer Lens Filter Optical Glass Ultra Slim with 18 Multi-Layer Coatings Nano-Klear Series
SKU: KF01.2695
Polarized filters are super handy for when there is glare off of a surface like glass or water. Usually, this means taking out thr right filter, screwing it on and then taking your picture. With this filter, it has built in magnets so it just pops on! This makes it super easy to go from off to and back to off in a snap. Adding this to your collection of filters is way worth it!

I regularly go out in nature with my dog and carry around my Nikon D750 with various lenses, the most important of which all have a 77 mm thread. Especially in the forest and in the Harz Mountains, I always use a polar filter to reduce reflections from leaves and water. The only problem is that pole filters always take light and you have to extend the exposure time accordingly, which is disadvantageous if I want to spontaneously photograph my dog. Until now, I've been skeptical of magnetic filters because I wasn't sure whether the grip would be sufficient when hiking through nature with the camera and filter mounted. Accordingly, I welcomed the opportunity to test this filter from K&F as part of the Vine program.
I have already had very good experiences with K&F products. Your program covers a very wide range, but there are some of your products that are of very high quality but are definitely aimed at ambitious amateur photographers precisely because of their lower prices. This filter is also one of the better products, which you immediately notice when you unpack it. The filter is very neatly finished, the magnetic thread and filter are a perfect fit. The filter comes in a matching box, and there is also a lens cloth that is well protected in aluminum packaging. Overall, it all makes a very good impression.
The thread is easy to screw onto the lenses, the magnet pulls the filter well into position and holds it very firmly so that the filter can be rotated easily without slipping in position. Since this is a slim design, it barely affects the image even with the wide-angle lens at 16 mm. My fear that a magnetic filter might fall off while hiking has made this filter clear. It really sits securely and firmly on the lens. However, it can be removed very quickly if necessary, which is much more convenient than lengthy unscrewing. For me, this is a significant improvement in the handling of filters in outdoor photography, where you often have to adjust your equipment spontaneously. I think I will now focus more on using magnetic filters, the test has convinced me of the functionality.
The filter performance is clearly in the better range of the pole filters that I use. There are really big differences in the reduction of reflections and color accuracy, and you have to invest quite a bit if you want reliable filter performance. I am very satisfied with the performance of this filter, you can clearly see how reflections are diminishing when turning.
Overall, this is once again a highly recommended product from K&F.

This is a REVIEW REVIEW for the item sold on kf congcept with description:
K&F Concept Nano-K Magnetic Filter, CPL Circular Polarizing Filter with Nano Coating for 77mm Objective (Includes Cleaning Cloth).
This is a CPL filter (polarized light control by rotation on its axis) that is very convenient to use thanks to its two-piece threaded anchor ring and filter with magnetic outer ring, the threaded ring is installed and then it can be removed with a simple grip and pull of its contour (which has a ribbed texture for a better grip) and to fix it again, then present it to the ring and position it until you notice the magnetic pull and its anchor in a well-aligned position.
In terms of performance, they are noticeable outdoors with good solar lighting (indoors and artificial light is not noticeable) and very shaded outdoors, so it is usually useful when shooting landscapes, especially in which an area of sky or clouds appears or where there is a reflection of light in rivers, springs, lakes, etc... or with reflections of a metallic effect. Depending on the orientation in which the ring is rotated, the image darkens or lightens a little, attenuating the sunlight and taking on greater or lower color saturation (when rotated on the magnetic system it makes a little sound like a rubbing squeak, but as is normally used in photography and video, the position is first searched and then the recording is activated, since it does not affect the audio of the recordings.
I made an edited video with some image changes on the same shots, only partially rotating the CPL polarizing ring. The images appear with a higher color tone but less luminous, which is why it is advisable to adjust the exposure meter gain a little, since when we rotate the ring if we are in manual mode with reference to it or in the preferred aperture or speed control modes, the shooting speeds or the diaphragm apertures vary respectively, and I personally like images that are a little more vivid, both the colors and the brightness, but without annoying reflections.
Due to its very good price/quality ratio and its ease of installation and exchange with filters from the same “Magnetic adapter ring” magnetic attachment ring system, its thin “Slim” support that prevents vignetting on angular lenses, its good presentation in a protective box and the special cleaning cloth included in the set my rating for this K&F concept filter is:
"5 STARS" = [* * * * * *]. I hope you find this review useful, Regards.
The drawback that I forgot to review and noticed later is that on CANON lenses with the front covers of the EF range, they are not attached either with the filter installed or with the filter ring with the filter removed, since the filter is a narrow format (SLIM), the support tabs of the front cover of the lens do not engage the profile of either the filter or its support ring, so to be able to put the cover on, you must also remove the threaded ring and store the set in its box.

This polarizing filter is delivered in its protective box and a wipe.
The magnetic design separates the filter into 2 parts: the magnetic ring that is permanently screwed onto the lens and the filter that sticks magnetically to the ring.
The strength of the magnet is sufficient to securely secure the filter and prevent it from falling during use. However, you should not hit too hard in it all the same!
The rotation of the filter is smooth and pleasant. I recommend always turning the filter in the screw direction so as not to risk unscrewing the ring in the long run.
The ring is very thin and does not interfere with the installation of the lens hood. However, we will be careful not to hang the filter when removing the sun visor, it only fits magnetically, remember.
Once the principle and particularity of this flexible and practical system are well integrated, it is comfortable!
And of course if you juggle other filters of the same type, it's super quick to change.
The optical quality is also there.
I recommend.

This is an innovative design that removes the need for you to swap your protective filter (UV or whatever) on the occasional need for a polarizer. I've tried keeping the outer ring where this fits on top of my normal UV filter. It just snaps on. Of course you should take it off and not meant to be kept there permanently since a reasonably hard bump will unstick it. However, if you're doing landscapes on a tripod, and not walking around this is good.
Optically, its very good. I've no complaints. I am a bit surprised that it seems the sky was bluer without the filter than with. I'll have to do more tests to see. Probably modern digital cameras compensate the colors. It was a Nikon Z7ii.

I like my K&F Concept 58mm Magnetic Circular Polarizer Lens Filter. It fits well magnetic or screwed in place.
The quality of the filter is very good.
It also takes a lens cap securely to protect it when not in use.

These magnetic filters are awesome. No more worrying about the lens threads on the camera. If you've ever had a filter get 'stuck' on the lens, you know how frustrating that can be. With the magnetic filters, you can swap out the filter in about 10 seconds. I personally think the lens clarity is excellent. Very happy with this filter.

Barely €29 at the time of this test for an 82mm magnetic CPL filter that works as expected (tested on a Canon full frame in 24Mpx) is very good. The filter itself plus the magnetic base ring are no thicker together than my other non-magnetic CPL filters. The quality of construction is there, the screwing is fluid, the visual rendering is coherent and of high quality.
There is just the thread that is not deep enough for me to put my native 82mm lens cap back on. But I have a K&F 82mm cap that fits on it, it depends too much on the caps themselves and then I use my filters 3 times out of 4 anyway with step up rings on other sizes so it doesn't seem crucial to me.
