Very good quality lens Very thin, it can be forgotten and the best thing is also that the cover supplied with a hook better than the original Canon cover. The cord secures handling well, it prevents the cover from falling out. Very good quality/price ratio

What should you write about a UV filter? It filters out the UV light. The special thing about this is the associated lens cap. It is secured with a band, which can simply be placed around the lens and tightened. This means that the lens cap can never be lost. Someone thought about that!

I certainly wouldn't have expected this quality at this price. Even the workmanship is at its best — the part feels as if it were in the highest price category of a luxury camera brand.
Still, I didn't have particularly high expectations when I screwed the filter onto a camera for the first time.

Even working with the part is a pleasure — but the result completely convinced me. Whining at a high level, the color spectrum turns a bit greenish, but that's not something you couldn't correct in mail with a mouse click.

This is certainly not the last K&F product to find its way into my camera case.

Great!

This UV filter is super value for money compared to premium brand filters. If you just want a filter to protect your lens while barely affecting light then this is as cheap as you'll get for a decent quality filter. The screw fitting is smooth. The cap is made from slightly plastic than premium brands, but works fine.

Small kit including an 82mm UV filter, an 82mm lens cap and a small elastic strap for the lens cap. When I go on a photo walk in the countryside/in the forest with friends, between branches that can come back in boomerang, brambles and other thorny vegetation or simply dust, tree sap or other, as an amateur who does not necessarily have the means/the desire to insure his equipment or especially to replace it, I appreciate knowing that the front lens of my lens is protected.

Whether on my 30Mpx camera or the 24Mpx one, even with my most pricked Laowa Macro 100mm in 95% of cases there is no significant visual impact between with and without the filter. For landscape, portrait or studio as a pro with much more expensive equipment my point of view would obviously have been different. But as an amateur, the negligible impact on sharpness is largely offset by the gain in protection.

The lens cap is also more than welcome, classic plastic construction, very good, even if the original lens cap fits the filter too, the cap will be useful for creative filters with a step up ring on lenses of different diameters. I don't really see myself using the little strap, at least not to make the lens cap dangle from the lens itself, I think it's even more annoying than anything else on the lens cap.

For €18.40 at the time of the test the kit is very good.

First of all: I'm not a fan of always using a lens with a UV protection filter. No matter how good it may be: Any air-glass surface in front of the lens impairs imaging performance and has an effect on the optical design of the lens. It may be that this is not always visible, but in borderline situations (e.g. stray light), this can lead to blurring, poorer contrast or flares. Due to the hard coating of the front lenses, this protection is also usually unnecessary.

However, there are always situations in which mechanical protection of the front lens is more important than the disadvantages described above. Then the UV protection filter from K&F Concept is a good choice, because its nano coating (18 layers!) At least keep the inevitable flares within limits. The included lens cap is ok so far, it meets the usual standard here.

One more tip: Nano-coated filters tend to magically attract dust. Care should be taken to ensure cleanliness here so as not to adversely affect the contrast and sharpness of detail.
