52mm Gold Streak Effect Lens Filter (2mm) Anamorphic Optical Glass Light Flare Effect Filter for Camera Lens Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2104
I am a fan of K&F Concept and love the fact that they can produce quality products at affordable prices.
I obtained this filter with an 82 mm diameter thread, and it attaches to the lens beautifully. However, like a lot of filters, it is easier to access with the lens hood off the lens. In this case, I have found that better results are achieved with the lens hood off. The more light across the filter, the better the result.
A nice storage case is provided with the filter, so there is very little chance of it getting damaged when it is tossed into a camera bag.
Further use, and, some decent weather, should see my results improving!

The filter effect makes a high-quality impression and can be easily screwed onto the lens thread. It is particularly practical that you can rotate the filter, similar to a CPL filter, to change the direction of the light strips. This offers great options and gives you full control over the effect.
The filter is ideal for creative photography, especially when it comes to staging light. The effect works best when there are smaller light sources in the image, such as fairy lights or car headlights — but with larger lights, you shouldn't be too close to the light sources to achieve the desired effect. The lights are drawn out and create this characteristic anamorphic look.
For me, this filter is a great addition to photo equipment, especially for effective shots that need that little bit extra. The filter not only offers great effects, but is also robust and easy to handle. A storage box is included so that you don't scratch the glass during transport.
The filter does not noticeably reduce the image quality, it just drags the lights out. What is a bit irritating is that the description says that the lines should be blue transparent, at least that's how it was written at the time of writing this review. However, the lines take on the color of light. For example, I photographed a reddish string of lights and the lines were also in the same color, but not blue. Personally, I think that's better because you're not limited to one color, but the colors match the overall picture better.
All in all, I can give this product 5 stars and also recommend buying it.

As with most K&F products I've tested, the build quality of this filter is very good and there didn't seem to be any issues with unintended alterations to the image. I've been pretty impressed with K&F products as a whole, actually, and this is no exception. The gold streak effect is pretty awesome and something that I have been interested in trying for a while due to it's uniqueness - I've just scratched the surface with the creativeness that this filter can provide and look forward to using it in different situations. Having said all that, I don't think there's any way I could have justified buying this (it was a free review product) for the cost. The 52mm that I picked up is listed for $32 and obviously the larger the filter the more it costs. $32 is definitely not super expensive when it comes to photography gear but the cost-to-use ratio wouldn't be in my favor as this is an ultra specific filter that will only be used sparingly. I have K&F diffusion filters that never leave certain lenses because they have an in-camera look that I love. This filter definitely wouldn't fall into the same category. It is a really nice filter though and if you're looking for something like this then the K&F would be something to consider.

This company makes high quality everything and the price is so much more reasonable. Sure, you can recreate this digitally, but it never looks quite right. Give these a shot to add a little flair.

I own several K&F products and I've always been impressed with the quality of their products. This filter is no exception, it's a quality product. It is of course a very specific use filter, but it works great if your intent aligns with its purpose.
In a world where photo editing (lightroom/photoshop) is so prominent some might argue this effect could be added in post but I prefer to capture with my camera and do minimal post-processing. This gives you the ability to capture neat shots with an artistic/cinematic feel straight from your camera.
Overall I'm quite happy with this filter and it will make a great addition to my collection of photographic equipment.
