This is a very nice digital microscope. It comes with a handheld microscope, stand, and USB-C cable. There is a light that shines upwards from the base which can be turned off and is dimmable. There is another light that shines down from the microscope. The image quality is very nice. It is made of plastic, so I would not recommend dropping it on the floor, but as long as that doesn't happen, it is a high-quality device that is fun to use.

The Easter Bunny brought this to my 5 year old this year and we have LOVED using it! We especially love using this outside and finding various plants and bugs to view with it. The scope itself is lightweight and on it's own takes up little space so is easy to pack in a small backpack and take out when needed.

This is just such a fun educational tool. I purchased an additional pack of slides for my daughter and she will spend a good chunk of time just viewing each slide and taking pictures. I myself as an adult also find it so fun to use. Definitely recommend!

This thing is a LOT of fun to play with! It claims a 1000X magnification, but I think that is extremely generous. It DOES have some decent magnification, but this is not a serious scientific scope by any means.
The screen has a nice resolution and the unit takes fine video and photos as well. The controls are large and easy to operate. It holds a decent charge as well, I got nearly two hours of out it out of the box.
I can see where this could be days of fun for a kid, I sure enjoyed it! I have actually used it now for a couple of serious things and it has performed well enough. It is fun to have around and CAN be useful, just don't expect to see sub atomic particles with it.

I bought this to check for dust mites and was pleased to find out I don’t have any! It’s fun to use and very easy to operate.

I purchased this along with a slide collection for my granddaughter who just turned 8. She has a sister who is 2 years older and a brother who is 4. They all enjoy using it and the screen allows them to a share the view of the slides. They all love the microscope.

I originally thought these were weak but now that I have one and testing it it’s surprising really good. Has a decent led light that’s pretty bright but I wouldn’t say it has the best cri level. The screen is pretty good for what it is as well.

This microscope is so great because it requires next to no setup! You essentially just point it at what you want to magnify, and dial in the focus knob! You don't have to worry about your lens hitting your subject, you don't have to prepare slides, you don't have to plug it in (except to charge the battery). You can literally just take it outside and start looking at things. This allows for a child to wonder at the world and explore it on his own terms.

The very first time I used it, I caught a spider in one of the included clear plastic cases, and looked at it with the scope. The scope seems to use 1 lens, and the magnification levels seem to be digital as far as cropping in on the subject rather than actually using different magnifying lenses. This is to be expected in this format, and the digital zoom does not look bad.

I could see all the little tiny hairs on the spider, and it was really cool! I'm very happy this product exists. It certainly doesn't replace a traditional microscope (we will be keeping our regular one), but it opens up the tiny world to a child's imagination in such a natural way. Highly recommended.

This microscope is way better than I thought it would be! I was expecting decent, allowing me to look at my pigments and watercolors in more detail and maybe some spore prints from mushrooms if I was lucky, but the magnification and focus is fantastic. I love the large screen viewfinder, I struggle with regular lens microscopes (I am going to blame an astigmatism, or just general weirdness) so having the screen means I can see things so much easier. The light is super bright and the focus very clear.

I tested it out using some slides and also on some of my paints, there were a few watercolors that claimed to be authentic minerals I wanted to test and was able to confirm which ones were real and which were full of it, thanks to all those years being obsessed with mineralogy!

The accessories it comes with are pretty awesome, the case is surprisingly sturdy.

Straight out of the box my 11-year-old daughter started exploring with this amazing device. From examining our cat's nose & whiskers, to micro dust on screens and finding a dead gnat on the patio. This mini microscope is brilliant! It's super easy to use and magnifies better than I could have hoped for. It has piqued her interest and curiosity in ways that I love and though we have always encouraged her, this is a self-motivated journey.

This microscope is awesome! Perfect addition for hobby people! Great ability to see things up close with the digital out put screen. It works very well and has plenty of options for zoom to get where you want. The lighted base has several colors which I awesome. It’s easy to charge and work fantastic. Great for entertaining kids while learning.
