K&F Concept 2 Pack NP-F970 Battery with LED Charger, Compatible with Sony NP-F550 F570 F750 F770 F930 F950 F960 F970, High-Power LED Lights, Monitors, Camera Sliders, and More
SKU: KF28.0047
This product comes inside of a cardboard box; once opened, you'll find 2x NP-F970 batteries and a charger; they contain 6600 milliamps, which is enough to use most video lights for a while (mine will last about 4 hours per battery with continuous use). The product is high quality and very useful, especially if you are taking photos/videos with more than one video-lights that needs swapping.
The products are very high quality, and I like that they come with a charger, which lets you keep them up and running when taking photos.
I would recommend this product.

I like that the charger is a straightforward drop-in solution and the batteries fit in securely; I did not have any difficult charging the batteries with the included USB-C cable. It's nice that the charger has an additional micro USB port as an alternative cable charging option.
Areas of improvement:
- I wish the charger had a display with percentage reading instead of a red LED that turns green; it would give me a better gauge on how much longer I need to charge and manage my time around charging cycles.
I did run into a compatibility issue with my F400 Pro field monitor where the battery pack locks in; I noticed that the spacing for the locking tab is offset by a few millimeters. I will probably need to do more comparison testing with Sony equipment to see which of these non-OEM batteries fit better.
Overall, the construction of the batteries and charger feel well built; None of the plastics felt too brittle and the rigidity is acceptably. I did not see any physical damage nor imperfections with the finishes.

This is a two pack of Sony NP-F970 compatible rechargeable (LiIon) batteries. It also includes a USB powered 2-channel battery charger.
The batteries exceeded my expectations (and the 47.52 Wh rating on their nameplate), running my 20 watt lights for 3 hours and 10 minutes before shutting down. It took around 72 Wh to recharge each battery, and even at an 80% efficiency rating, that's still a capacity close to 57 Wh per battery. So I feel confident in saying that they will meet their 47.5 Wh rating over the first year or two of their life with no problems.
They snapped into and fit my battery charger and lights perfectly, so no problems with fit and finish.
They do NOT have extra features I've seen in some other 3rd party NP-F970 style batteries, such as an on battery power gauge or built in USB charging port, so you need to have an external charger to recharge them. (Or get an idea of their current charge level.)
The 2 pack includes a small and lightweight USB powered charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable. [The charger accepts either a USB-C cable or a Micro-USB cable.] The package does NOT include a USB power supply, so you will need to provide your own USB-C power adapter (or a USB-A [rectangular] outlet capable of providing 5 volts at up to 2 amps). The USB-C port on the charger supports and successfully negotiates USB-C power delivery (PD) but only supports a 5 volt input level. So the charger steps up the 5 volts at 2 amps input to the 8.4 volt charging voltage needed by the battery. With a single battery, it can charge at 700 mA @ 8.4 volts, or 6 watts, and with both batteries plugged in they each get 500 mA @ 8.4 volts, or 4.2 watts each.
As you can tell by the small watt numbers, this is a slow charger. In fact, it takes this charger about 16-17 hours to fully recharge both batteries from a completely empty state. It works fine, meets all of it's specifications, but is only suitable for very low duty cycle charging. If you just need to keep the batteries plugged in to make sure they are ready to go when you are, and can handle recharging taking overnight or longer, it will meet your needs. However, if you need to recharge these batteries quickly or cycle them fast for continuous usage, you'll need a faster charger. I would consider this charger a "bonus" and not the main part of the package.
In my opinion, the two batteries alone justify the price, although if you don't already have a faster external charger, you may wish to consider batteries that include a built in USB-C charging port and a LED "fuel gauge" built in.

These are a great replacement for the Sony brand of the batteries. This battery is very versatile and useful in many devices and applications. What sets this set apart is the dual charger that it comes with. It's great to be able to throw them on the charger and let them charge rather than have to swap them out for other charge batteries.

I'm very impressed with how well these batteries perform at this price point. It's an amazing value.
As a rule of thumb, I avoid purchasing low cost batteries from unknown brands because they can ruin your gear or even cause safety problems, so I'm so glad this is from a well known and trusted company.
K&F is a well known brand that I've trusted for years and although they're primarily known for their filters, I've used quite a few of their other accessories and I've never been let down once.

Picked up this 2-pack of NP-F970 batteries for my camera and lighting setup, and they’re exactly what I needed! These things are a solid upgrade over the smaller batteries I was using, giving me a much longer shoot time without constantly swapping or charging. Plus, they're compatible with so many different pieces of gear, which makes them super versatile. Slapped them on my camera rig, and it just kept going—barely made a dent in the power after hours of filming.
The real bonus here is using them with my lights. They power up my LED panels like champs, which is great for long shoots without access to outlets. No more stopping mid-shoot to scramble for a recharge! These batteries feel solid and come with a huge charge capacity and a nice charger, so I don’t have to worry about running out of juice when I need it most.

I have been gearing up my little in-home studio, and using multiple cameras means I have multiple monitors and lights going...so I needed some more power...but I wanted it to be mobile gear as adventure season approaches (winter where I live)...so settled mostly on NP-F batteries. I tried a couple off-brand ones to save money, but that didn't go well, so when I saw K&F had this 2 batteries w/charger kit for a good price, thought I'd give it a try...
- I used one in my largest screen field monitor, and one in a setup that utilizes an iPad as a cordless monitor. Both discharged at the same rate as my most expensive batteries, and worked particularly well with the iPad, even charging it all the way up while the screen and app were in use.
- charging time took longer than discharge on the iPad setup, but I am fairly certain that is due to the brick I used...a lower power one as I wanted to see how long it would take with a standard style, unknown spec (just in cases) charging brick.
- charger is lightweight, but has nice bright led indicators, though it does not display progress...only charging and fully charged...which is fine, but a progress meter would have been nice
- build quality is nice, pretty indistinguishable from the nice NP-F's I already had
Overall these seem to be great batteries at a very affordable price, and are an excellent addition to my budget friendly studio setup. Would happily get them again, and recommend.

I was a bit iffy at first cause I know K&F does lots of lens filters, but honestly these batteries are awesome!! They hold charge perfectly! 5/5 stars

These batteries have been dependable for long shoots and extended use. Charging them is efficient, and they hold their charge well, providing enough power to get through a day’s work. The LED charger is a helpful feature, making it easy to monitor the charging process. No overheating issues, and they work perfectly with my equipment.

I have two LED lights that work on NPF batteries and these were able to keep my light on for just about 3 hours at 100 percent intensity on my night doc shoot. The charger comes with a cable, but not a block, so there’s that to keep in mind, but I already a charging station set up and so that was not an issue for me. It’s also great to have a smaller charger for travel purposes.
