My little compact superzoom camera has been needing some protection for its front element for some time, but I kept postponing buying a new one. This is a great value for both a super clear UV filter and a lens cap. The lens cap is discreetly branded, which makes it blend in with the overall camera design. Many lens caps advertise their brands and it clashes with the camera itself. This is a good compromise and I rather like their design. Having an UV filter in any lens is one of the first things we learn in photo school as a way to protect my lenses. And this UV filter is a perfect fit. Pro Tip: whenever in doubt about the side of filters, I look for the "o" with a slash symbol that means "diameter" and that is typically in millimeters.

This MC UV Lens Filter has been a great addition to my gear. I already had a CPL filter from K&F and it is around the same size. The build quality is good. It's super slim, feels sturdy and reliable, and no vignetting from what I saw. The coatings on this filter reduce reflections and ghosting. I tried sunny and cloudy conditions and the filter worked great with both. It also works as a protector for my main lens. As a physical barrier against dust, dirt, scratches, and accidental bumps, it gives peace of mind. Finally, it does include a lens cap and cleaning cloth which are nice. The cap fits securely and the cleaning cloth is just your standard microfiber. I would say this filter is a great value for the price you pay.

Literally a complete cleaning kit to get dust off, and keep dust off. Cleaning cloth to clean in the first place, and a lens cap that fits snugly but easily removable with a quick pinch... and a mini-lanyard to avoid losing the cap too! And a fine basic UV filter that minimally impacts your main filter/camera yet protect them all the same. All for an affordable price. I find no faults in this kit.

needed a UV protective filter for a new lens, so I picked up this K&F Concept 72mm MCUV Lens Protection Filter with Lens Cap. K&F is a brand I really like for reasonably priced filters. The other K&F filters I have are all very sharp and do not introduce any visual anomalies into my photographs. However, the extremely low price of this filter made me wonder if corners might have been cut. As far as I can tell, based on limited use, that is not the case. The filter uses AGC glass with 18 layer multi-coating, and all the shots I have taken with it on the lens are sharp and clear. I like the deeply knurled edge that makes it easy to grip even though it is very thin, and the filter threads on smoothly. I also like that it comes with a lens cap, a lanyard, and a cleaning cloth. It is a very nice package and a great value. If I notice any issues as I use it more, I will update this review.

I’ve been a fan of K&F Filters for some time now, and have come to appreciate the consistency and the quality of the brand. The majority of my lenses live their lives with a K&F Concept UV protective filter on their front element. I have done enough testing of the transmittance and sharpness of K&F UV filters in the past that I now consider them a trusted brand; I feel confident in their quality. And that’s the point, right? In my opinion, they’re a trusted seller. I needed a protective filter for a new lens I purchased, a 28mm; the ultra-slim frame of the MCUV filter is why it became of interest to me and the reason I ordered it. And for that reason, it worked out well; it doesn’t infringe on the image area. Therefore, it doesn’t introduce any vignetting. UV filters have an efficacy when recording on film, even though some emulsions are/were formulated to be insensitive to UV light, but have no added benefit when capturing to a digital sensor. Modern digital sensors, unfiltered, record the entire spectrum of visible light, as well as portions of the spectrums of invisible infrared and ultraviolet light. In order to record only visible light, so photographs appear the way we see the world, digital camera manufacturers install what is called an IR Cut Hot Mirror filter over the digital sensor and its Bayer Array. Digital cameras sold without this filter are referred to as a “Full Spectrum Camera.” If you’re not sure if your camera is full spectrum, it’s not. Which means you don’t need to filter out UV light, it already is. In the case of my digital imaging, I use UV filters to protect the front element of expensive lenses. And in that respect, the K&F Concept MCUV Filter provides protection for expensive lenses without impacting camera settings or image quality, in effect providing inexpensive insurance. As I noted at the beginning, I’ve come to rely on the quality of K&F filters, and for the reasons that the seller asserts, but most importantly to me, the high quality of their AGC multi-coated, anti-reflective glass; AGC is a Japanese company and the largest manufacturer of glass in the world. Another reason I have confidence in K&F filters. The filter is supplied with a lens cap, a lanyard for the lens cap, a high-quality microfiber lens cleaning cloth and a plastic storage case.

needed an additional 52mm UV filter for a Nikon DSLR lens. I discovered this K&F Concept filter was available on Amazon, which is reasonably priced. K&F has increasingly developed a pretty solid reputation for producing quality photography equipment (e.g., tripods and heads) & various other accessory products. I am very pleased with this filter. The filter arrived attractively boxed in a cardboard outer box, as well as an additional inside snap-closing plastic box. The "kit" included the filter, an extra 52mm lens cap, a short camera wrist lanyard & a micro lens cleaning cloth. All items in the kit present as clean & there isn't a hint of dust or film coating on the filter, which indicates this product was manufactured & packaged in clean environment. I really like the knurling that is present on the outside circumference of the filter; this allows for better gripping/control while handling the extremely lightweight filter & attaching it to one's lens. The K&F filter screwed very easily onto the lens, indicating good machining of the filter's matte finish aluminum frame. I highly recommend this attractively priced, well-made K&F Concept UV lens filter.

When I first received the item, I thought I ordered the wrong one as you can see ... the first thing I saw was a lens cap! Lo and behold its actually an included lens cap and then more. Theres also a lanyard that is supposed to thread around the lens cap, and then a lens cloth too. I've had a few other K&F Concept lens cap, and filters ... simply becaus they are worth the money. At the priced asked for, I cannot complain much. Looking at the filter against the back background of the filter, I certainly see it is coated. To be honest I think every lens needs a basic filter, if only to keep out the dust/smudges besides the knock. Better to damage the cheapish filter than the primary lens. I don't see any issues looking through it, and taking pictures. So good enough for me... and now I have a spare lens cap already in case I lose the original.
