I bought this tripod for two main reasons: (1) my old "Targus" brand tripod was falling apart, and (2) I wanted less shaky video when shooting with a telephoto lens. I specifically wanted a tripod that would allow me to easily pan in all directions somewhat smoothly. I know that ball heads are not designed to shoot video, but I figured I would give it a shot. This tripod is surprisingly good at delivering smooth video when panning using the ball head. This seems like a no-brainer, but I have also had much less trouble with motion blur when shooting at low shutter speeds (1/30-1/100), and panning is easy enough that I can use the tripod to take pictures of moving subjects without a problem. I have included a video of a Northern Waterthrush hopping around, looking for food, shot with this tripod. I did not use the separate panning feature of this tripod for panning; I only used the ball head.
I use a Nikon D3200 with a vintage Nikkor 300mm f4.5 lens. This setup weighs about 4lb. Other than one occasion where one of the legs slipped a little (probably mostly due to me putting some of my weight on it), this tripod holds the weight well. I do not like leaving the camera on the tripod unattended as the ball head has a tendency to loosen up and allow the camera to fall into the downward position.
The tripod is solid. The ball tension knob provides pretty good control of the drag on the ball.

I've been a hobby photographer for a little over a year now. I started with a very cheap tripod and have now ended up with K&F Concept. The range of uses this tripod offers me is simply unbelievable. I will continue to only bring K&F products into my home

Another positive is: 1. The pack size is really small. 2. The tripod includes a monopod, making it really versatile. 3. The working height is pleasantly high despite the small pack size. The second stabilizing clamp for the center column is very good and mechanically well thought out. Bravo!! 4. The tripod can be weighed down with a hook and a weight. 5. Scaling makes it easier to take panoramic or multiple shots. 6. The tripod is light and thus also allows longer mountain tours. 7. The head allows for very smooth panning. All in all, I think the price for the range of services offered is still very good. The tripod is lightweight, yet stable and versatile. It is an ideal travel tripod.

... at a good price. I recently decided on the K&F after my 6-year-old tripod wobbled everywhere and it was just not easy to work with. I didn't want to spend more than 100€ for a tripod because I just don't need it. I simply wanted a tripod that is stable, that doesn't wobble, that has a high standing height and that is fairly small when folded. That's exactly what I got at K&F. Positive: - The legs can be pulled out quickly and easily. - It looks very high quality. Not only are the legs rock solid, the ball head and the other adjustment options are also very high quality. You can adjust everything extremely finely and still easily. The quick-release plate can also be changed and attached quickly. - The bag that the tripod comes in is also of extremely high quality and the tripod is easy to transport in it. - You have the option to build a monopod out of the tripod and it's pretty easy. - Great working height of approx. 162cm. With the camera on it you hardly have to bend down, even at over 1.9m. - Even at the maximum working height, the tripod is still fixed. Overall it's a big improvement over my old tripod and for the price you get a very good tripod that's also made for many uses.

bought the tripod and since then I've used it more often in the field, also in the water (no effects). So far I've only been able to find out. that the screw connection at the top of the separation point to the center column loosens itself from time to time (a flick of the wrist and the screw connection is tight again). Nothing too dramatic for me. The materials appear to be of high quality. I would have liked to see the screw caps on the legs in aluminum as well, but the price has to come from somewhere. CONCLUSION: A very good tripod for the price, which always stands securely (provided it is used correctly) and is relatively light.
